摘要： A chord truss roof includes a ring-girder, crossbeams arranged radially around the ring-girder, chord members stretched between the respective crossbeams and the ring-girder. The roof supports itself by tensioning the chord members. The ring-girder has an upper compression ring, a lower lension ring, and plural struts connecting the two rings. The chord members arranged opposite one another with both end portions of the tension ring interposed therebetween are connected to the corresponding end portions of the tension ring, and are joined to one another via connection members which are disposed between both end portions of the tension ring. Further, each strut is provided along a line which bisects the angle made by a corresponding chord member and the plane defined by the tension ring.

摘要： The building with a domed roof has a circular wall which supports the outer ends of curved braced steel girders (3). These girders (3) extend radially inwards and upwards and have their inner ends fastened to central rings. - An upper pair of rings (11,12) connect the upper flanges of the girders to each other and a second pair of rings connect the lower part to each other. Each pair of rings consists of two rings of OD. The smaller ring (11) of each pair is fastened to the inner end strut of each girder whilst the larger ring (12) of each pair is fastened to second strut from the inner end of each girder.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to construct a roof having a big opening in the central part thereof economically without having any impediment by building a string beam roof frame connecting trussed beams radially to oval compression rings to a lower frame. CONSTITUTION:A string beam roof frame 10 consisting of steel frames or pipe framework is constituted of oval compression rings 21 tensioning a rigidity maintaining cable 21, a plurality of trussed beams 23 having a circular shape from the side view connected radially to the outside ends of the compression rings 21 and tension rings 24 connected to the outside ends of the trussed beams 23. The lower parts of the outside ends of a small number of trussed beams 23 are pulled out in the directions of the compression rings 21 with a string beam cable 25, and beams having the same concentricity as the compression rings 21 or braces are provided between the trussed beams 23. The string beam roof frame 10 is connected to the upper ends of roof bearing lower frames 12 with pins 30, a roofing material is stuck on the upper surface, and waterproof finishing work is applied thereon. The string beam roof frame 10 is equipped with a movable mechanism, and a movable roof 11 covering an opening section H is driven.

摘要： PURPOSE:To shorten the period of construction by simultaneously introducing a tension which is lower than an optimum tension adapted to be finally applied, to chord members after building of a roof structure body but before finishing work so that the roof structure body floats up and becomes self-standing. CONSTITUTION:Upon construction of a roof structure body composed of large beams 1 and secondary members, the large beams 1 are supported at its one end by a temporary frame base built below the center section and at its the other end by a side wall part 5 laid on the outer peripheral side. Tension applying devices which are fixed to fixing parts between tension rings 2a and the chord members 3 are operated so as to simultaneously introduce a tension which is lower than an optimum tension adapted to be finally applied, into the chord members 3, and accordingly, the roof structure body floats up and becomes self-standing. Then, a final finishing process is carried out, and accordingly, the tension of the chord member is optimized by addition of a weight to the roof structure body, thereby it is possible to shorten the period of construction.
