CONSTITUTION:In the body part 5 of a flexible joint, the center part leaving out both side parts in the width direction of cross section is formed into a laminated part 6 laminated into a laminated body, and elastic body parts 7 made of rubber or the like are formed on both side parts. The laminated part 6 is of such structure that the laminated body 8 of natural fiber, synthetic fiber, metal mesh, or the like is adhesively embedded in elastic material and that high spring force can be displayed in order to correspond to pressure contact force. The body part 5 is also provided with a soft noze 9 lower in height at the center part than the outer part and lower in Young's modulus than the body part 5. A fastening part 10 with a bolt locking hole and with reinforcing material 11 such as an iron plate embedded therein is formed at the bottom part of the body part 5. The joint is bolt-fixed to the end face of a connected case body at this fastening part 10.

    • PURPOSE:To permanently keep physical characteristics without generating corrosion and abrasion even when wood, paper or cloth is used as an internal base material by covering a base material wherein the shape of a general excessive substance is arranged with a rubber-coated fabric formed from rubber and a fiber and further coating the outer peripheral surface thereof with the rubber of the same quality to integrally vulcanize the whole. CONSTITUTION:A base material is composed of lumber from thinning and the oil or waste refuse on the shaped surface thereof is removed. The rubber-coated fabric 2 covering the periphery of the base material 1 in a closely bonded state is formed by the rolling processing of unprocessed rubber and a fiber. The rubber 3 is the same quality as that of the rubber-coated fabric 2 and imparts abrasion resistance, cutting resistance, corrosion resistance, weatherability and chemical resistance to the outside of the rubber-coated fabric. This unprocessed material is received in a mold 4 to be defoamed and vulcanized under pressure. Since the rubber-coated fabric 2 of a composite material after the completion of thermal reaction such as vulcanization generates elongation during thermal reaction and is subsequently shrunk, a state allowing contraction force to always act on an internal member after cooling is obtained and the rubber-coated fabric is not released from the base material and the durability of the composite material is kept.

SOLUTION: Water from a mountain is collected in a collection tank 1 and received in a filter tank 3, the filtered water is stored in respective storage tanks 5 dividedly arranged. Next, water is sent from the storage tanks 5 to respective discharge tanks 9 through flow adjusting valves 11. Water is discharged and supplied from the dipersedly arranged discharge tanks 9 by pressure difference, utilizing height difference against the collection tank 1. Because a plurality of the storage tanks 5 and the discharge tanks are dividedly arranged, it is unnecessary to build a large structure on one place, and the underground or the undersea can be utilized.

    • PURPOSE: To effectively interrupt the propagation of low frequency ground vibration by forming an airtight chamber within an excavated channel with a specified distance kept along a vibration generating structure, and filling air into the airtight chamber up to a specified pressure level. CONSTITUTION: A channel 2 is excavated to the depth of a foundation ground as a rule in a space with a specified distance kept along a vibration generating structure 1 generating low frequency noise such as expressways, railway facilities and the like. The wall surface 4 of the channel 2 is then formed out of concrete and steel members, and the wall surface is internally packaged with pressure proof members composed of steel plates and the like. Each pressure proof member 5 may be so constituted as to be divided in the vertical direction depending on the depth of the channel. Next, membrane members 9 and 9 made of rubber are mounted on the upper opening section and bottom section of each pressure proof member 5, and its inside section is thereby formed into an airtight chamber 3. The airtight chamber 3 is then communicated with an air tank 13 through an inner pressure sensor 14, an adjusting valve 15 and the like, and air is filled in the aithtight chamber 3 up to a specified pressure level.

Evaluation test of the sheet material is then performed for deformation of the ground by displacing the displacement jig while applying a pressure to the object being tested thereby displacing the object being tested.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig and a method for seal inspection which can inspect the sealing property of a sheet joint part, etc., without applying foaming liquid, etc., to the sheet joint part etc. SOLUTION: The jig 20 for the seal inspecting method comprises a box body 23 made of a transparent material, a contacting member 26 which is made of sponge rubber, etc., at the entire periphery of the opening end part of the box body 23, a functional film 31 which is spread on the internal wall side wall of the box body 23 and has air permeability and water impermeability, and an opening 24 formed on the top surface of the box body 23. A duct 25 for suction is connected to the opening 24 to suck a 1st space 35 and a 2nd space 36 and then whether or not a joint part 27 is defective in sealing can be viewed from outside the box body 23 in the form of changes of the foaming liquid 32.
