摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a mass while scattering it and prevent breakage of a basic part of a structural body by arranging a shock absorber which is composed of a buckling-deformable elastic member and a rigid member integrall with each other or indpenendently on each other on one structural body oppositely to the other. SOLUTION: A shock eliminating body adopted to a base isolation structure arranged across structral bodies is composed by integrating an elastic member 1 which can be buckling-deformed and with a rigid member 5. The elastic member 1 is formed by embedding alternatively a laminated member made of woven fabric such as mixed fiber or nonwoven fabric and elastic metarial such as synthetic resin. The rigid member 5, whose shape is freelly selected, is made of, for instance, metal. In order to cover the elastic member 1 having, for instance, a V-shaped form, the rigid member having, for instance, a gate-like section is superposed to obtain a compound structure. In such a case, when the rigid member 5 is broken upon a load exceeding a desiged load, the elastic member 1 is buckling-deformed for reducing the load, and breakage of a basic part of the structural body is prevented.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability and safety, by immersing a rubber compound material or the like into a fibrous mesh sheet having openings through which ballast are scattered around and covering it with the rubber material. SOLUTION: A sheet material 5 is formed with a mesh sheet made of natural fiber or synthetic resin fiber having such openings that ballast are not scattered. A rubber compound material 7 is immersed in the sheet material 5 to cover it and form a sheet 6. When necessary, metallic powdery materials are mixed with the compound material 7 and the specific gravity thereof is made to be almost the same with the ballast or larger to dispense with anchors or the like to fix it. And further, substances which provides stability against weather conditions or use circumstances like an ozone-resistant property or a flame- retardant property, are mixed in the compound material 7. The sheet 6 is spread to cover the ballast in the rail road in both inside and outside of the rails. In this way, it can be laid without removing the ballast on the surface and the bearing force of the ballast for sleepers can be retained and also, the ballast can be prevented from being stirred up owing to the wind generated by trains. And further, breakage by impulses can be prevented.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce damage of a structure to a minimum level by storing an elastic body in a rigidity body, and setting the breaking points thereof lower than an allowable lead of the structure in which a shock absorbing body is installed and the structure opposite thereto. SOLUTION: A cloth-like body 5 of woven or nonwoven material is laminated and burried partially or wholly in an elastic material 4 in an alternate manner with the material 4 in the horizontal direction of an elastic body 3 to constitute the elastic body 3. Around the outer circumference of the body 3, a hollow rigid body 6 made of rigid material is arranged to constitute a shock absorbing body 11. A breaking load of the member 11 is set to be equal to or lower than the allowable load of a structure in which the shock absorbing body 11 is installed or a structure opposite thereto. With this constitution, the shock absorbing body 11 elastically deforms when subjected to an earthquake of allowable level while breaks when subjected to an earthquake of non-allowable level, and thereby the purpose is attained.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration of a columnar structure, and prevent crack and reduction of supporting force generated on a foundation ground caused by vibration so as to prevent collapse of a columnar structure by installing a vibration damping means on one part of the columnar structure. SOLUTION: An elastic damping body 3 is arranged as a vibration means so as to cover a base part on one part of a columnar structure 1. In order to increase a damping effect, elastic bodies whose hardness are different from each other are layered alternately with the elastic body singly or mixedly. In order to prevent vibration from transferring to a lower part, a same damping body 3 as a damping body 2 is arranged on the bottom surface lower part of the columnar structure 1 so as to shut out vibration. It is thus possible to prevent vibration of the columnar structure, and prevent crack and reduction of supporting force generated on a foundation ground caused by vibration so as to prevent collapse of the columnar structure. Also it is possible to prevent vibration environment pollution by preventing vibration from transferring to the foundation ground caused by low frequency ground vibration.

摘要： PURPOSE: To effectively interrupt the propagation of low frequency ground vibration by forming an airtight chamber within an excavated channel with a specified distance kept along a vibration generating structure, and filling air into the airtight chamber up to a specified pressure level. CONSTITUTION: A channel 2 is excavated to the depth of a foundation ground as a rule in a space with a specified distance kept along a vibration generating structure 1 generating low frequency noise such as expressways, railway facilities and the like. The wall surface 4 of the channel 2 is then formed out of concrete and steel members, and the wall surface is internally packaged with pressure proof members composed of steel plates and the like. Each pressure proof member 5 may be so constituted as to be divided in the vertical direction depending on the depth of the channel. Next, membrane members 9 and 9 made of rubber are mounted on the upper opening section and bottom section of each pressure proof member 5, and its inside section is thereby formed into an airtight chamber 3. The airtight chamber 3 is then communicated with an air tank 13 through an inner pressure sensor 14, an adjusting valve 15 and the like, and air is filled in the aithtight chamber 3 up to a specified pressure level.

A longitudinal beam 2 made of concrete disposed at the lower side of each of rail pair in the longitudinal direction thereof is connected to another beam 2 through a plurality of the joint members 3 at specified intervals. Accordingly, the long-term corrosion resistance of the members 3 can be improved.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damaging of a crossing gate rope or a strut by surrounding and supporting the lower parts of struts erected in both sides of a crossing with a buffering material made of alternately laminating rubber and cloth bodies and disposing the crossing gate rope between the struts so as to be moved up and down, the rope having a structure in which links constituting a chain in non-contact conditions are stuck and buried in an elastic material and an elastic material is filled between respective links. SOLUTION: The lower parts of struts 1 erected in both sides of a crossing are surrounded by a buffering material 4 made by alternately laminating rubber 2 and cloth bodies 3 and this buffering material 4 is buried and fixed in the ground. For a crossing gate rope 5 suspended between the struts 1 by a pulley, links constituting a chain are stuck and buried in an elastic material in non- contact states and also an elastic material is filled between the respective links. Thus, the forcible entering of an automobile when the crossing gate rope is closed is prevented and even if impact loads are applied, the crossing gate rope and the struts are prevented from being damaged.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generated heat from being accumulated in an elastic material, by arranging a heat radiating material by an elastic body therein, and bringing an end part of the radiating elastic material into contact with a wheel plate and a tire. SOLUTION: A hole 6 is provided to be inserted in an elastic material 5 with a desired space radially in a direction of an axle 1. A radiating material is only required to be an elastic body having good heat conductivity. A contact area in the periphery of the radiating material is preferably as wide as possible in an internal peripheral surface of the hole 6, and shape of a section is preferably an ellipse or rectangle. The radiating material thus formed is mounted in such a state of fitting to the internal peripheral surface of the hole 6, and a contact part is formed to make one end of the radiating material about on a wheel plate 2 and the other end about on a tire 3, respectively. In this constitution thus formed, friction heat generated when a brake is applied and heat generated when a vehicle overload repeatedly acts during running are transmitted to the wheel plate 2 and the tire 3 abutting in the contact part through the radiating material, thereby the heat can be prevented from being accumulated in the elastic material 5.

SOLUTION: A foundation body 2 is provided in the lower part of a strut 1. This foundation body 2 is disposed around the lower part of the strut 1, and an elastic body is formed by laminating cloth bodies 4 made of natural fibers, synthetic fibers or metal fibers like an annual ring around the strut 1 in an elastic body 3 made of rubber or a synthetic resin. For installing the strut 1, when the strut 1 receives a force from a specified direction, the installing direction of the foundation body 2 is set such that a low lamination density flexible part 5 is positioned for the strut 1 to be inclined by its force. Thus, by using a foundation body for a strut to be inclined by the load from a certain direction, a durable and safe supporting foundation is provided.
