Thereby, efficient harvesting operations can be performed and the total length of the machine body can be shortened.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of compacting a machine body, preventing both feet of an operator from exposing relatively to a reaping part and improving the operating efficiency by integrally installing a cover unit covering the front side of step boards. SOLUTION: This combine harvester is obtained by installing step boards 134a and 134b on both left and right sides of a steering column 71 and further arranging a cover unit 255 for covering the front side of the step boards 134a and 134b. The left and right lateral ends of the cover unit 255 are formed into a state curved toward the rear, and the edge on the left side of the cover unit 255 is joined to the front edge of a sidewall of a side column 72 provided on the left side of a driver's stand. The step board 134b on the right side of the steering column 71 is horizontally stretched and the step board 134a on the left side of the steering column 71 is tilted and stretched with a forward rising slope. A side mirror 171 is preferably attached to the steering column 71 and a display device for displaying operating conditions is preferably arranged on the top surface at the front near a steering wheel 19 of the side column 72 installed on the left side of the driver's stand.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission accuracy of main shift operation and steering operation by arranging a transmission under a side column, and transmitting the operation to a steering column from the side column through a main shift operation lateral transmission member arranged in the lateral direction of a machine body and a main shift operation longitudinal transmission member arranged in the longitudinal direction of the machine body. SOLUTION: A transmission 22 is arranged under a side column. A main shift shaft 99 being the main shift operation input part from the side column is rotatably journalled to the lower front side of a steering column 71, and the left side end of the main shift shaft 99 is projected to the left side outside of the steering column 71. The main shift shaft 99 is connected to a countershaft 100 being a main shift operation lateral transmission member arranged under the side column through a rod 104 with a length adjusting turnbuckle 103. With this constitution, three members of the steering column 71, the side column and the transmission 22 mounted with a turning HST 28 and a rectilinearly advancing HST 25 can be closely arranged to thereby improve transmission accuracy of main shift operation and steering operation.

Thus, when the reaping part 8 is elevated on the uppermost position, a cover or the like on the right side of the reaping part 8 can be prevented from interfering with the step plate.

The combine harvester has a harvesting equipment and the driver's cab in the front part of the machine, and has a threshing equipment and a feed chain behind them. The engine is fixed under the driver's cab and the engine power is principally changed by the HST infinite variable- speed drive to transmit the power to the crawler mounted running gear. A clutch mechanism is provided to switch on and off the driving force to the feed chain and can be switched on and off by being linked with a sensor 127 for detecting the position of the speed change lever and a sensor for the speed of the harvester through a controller.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the air from a breather pipe from being carried to the driver's seat side by mounting a member capable of suppressing the dispersion of generated cooling air between a radiator in the upper part of a fan cover and an engine in a combine for generating the cooling air by a fan to cool a radiator. SOLUTION: In a combine for sending the outside air sucked through the opening part 23 of an engine cover 24 to a radiator 32 through a filter 31 to cool the radiator 32, this combine is provided with a baffle plate 33 for suppressing the dispersion of the outside air sucked by the fan 34 and passed through the radiator 32 upward or in the longitudinal direction of the machine body. The baffle plate 33 is formed in a structure of covering the clearance between the radiator 32 and a cylinder block 38 above the fan 34. Accordingly, the outside air (cold air) is effectively sent to the cylinder block 38 to improve the cooling effect. The outside air after cooling the cylinder block 38 and a silencer 36 is discharged out of the machine body.
