    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission accuracy of main shift operation and steering operation by arranging a transmission under a side column, and transmitting the operation to a steering column from the side column through a main shift operation lateral transmission member arranged in the lateral direction of a machine body and a main shift operation longitudinal transmission member arranged in the longitudinal direction of the machine body. SOLUTION: A transmission 22 is arranged under a side column. A main shift shaft 99 being the main shift operation input part from the side column is rotatably journalled to the lower front side of a steering column 71, and the left side end of the main shift shaft 99 is projected to the left side outside of the steering column 71. The main shift shaft 99 is connected to a countershaft 100 being a main shift operation lateral transmission member arranged under the side column through a rod 104 with a length adjusting turnbuckle 103. With this constitution, three members of the steering column 71, the side column and the transmission 22 mounted with a turning HST 28 and a rectilinearly advancing HST 25 can be closely arranged to thereby improve transmission accuracy of main shift operation and steering operation.

    • PURPOSE: To provide the shaking grader of a combine, whose chaff sieve contains many assembling chaff fins each of which is formed by connecting plural divided fin parts to each other in the longitudinal direction, capable of being easily subjected to cleaning and maintaining works, and useful on the harvest of rice, buckwheat, etc. CONSTITUTION: Many chaff fins 78 are horizontally placed between both the lateral frame sides of a shaking grader board to form a chaff sieve, and the chaff sieve contains one or more assembling chaff fins 78 each of which is formed by connecting two or more divided fin parts 78a, 78b to each other in the longitudinal direction. Vis holes 81, 82 for vises 80 are formed in a fixing plate 79 and at the inside ends of the divided fins 78a, 78b, and a groove 82 for fitting onto the thick part 55b of each divided fin part 78a, 78b is disposed on the connection surface of each divided fin part 78a, 78b of the fixing plate 79 over the whole longitudinal width. Nuts 84 for threadedly attaching the vises 80 thereto are preferably attached to the back sides of the totally four vises 82 in the fixing plate 79.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a step plate from interfering with the side part of the driver's seat side of a reaping part elevated onto the uppermost elevated position to stabilize a working posture by slantingly raising the front part of the step plate of an operation part, in a combine in which the operation part is arranged on the side of the elevatable moving reaping part. SOLUTION: In an operation part 18 provided with a circular steering handle 19, a driver's seat 20, and the like, the lateral width of a step plate on the left side of steering column 71 is formed wider than the lateral width of a step plate on the right side, a space sufficient for putting in and loading the left foot of an operator is insured between the steering column 71 and the side column 72, and the front part of the step plate is formed to be slantingly raised by projection of the step plate on the left side of the steering column 71 on the reaping part 8 side. Thus, when the reaping part 8 is elevated on the uppermost position, a cover or the like on the right side of the reaping part 8 can be prevented from interfering with the step plate.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of improving the operability of a principal speed change lever for the gearshift of a HST infinite variable- speed drive by providing a buffer part at a specific position. SOLUTION: When principally changing the power of an engine with a HST infinite variable-speed drive 101 in terms of speed and transmitting the power to a crawler mounted running gear of a combine harvester, a buffer part is provided in the midway of a mechanism linking between a principal speed change lever 54 placed in a driver's cab and the HST infinite variable-speed drive 101 in an interlinked state. The combine harvester has a harvesting equipment and the driver's cab in the front part of the machine, and has a threshing equipment and a feed chain behind them. The engine is fixed under the driver's cab and the engine power is principally changed by the HST infinite variable- speed drive to transmit the power to the crawler mounted running gear. A clutch mechanism is provided to switch on and off the driving force to the feed chain and can be switched on and off by being linked with a sensor 127 for detecting the position of the speed change lever and a sensor for the speed of the harvester through a controller.
