    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method capable of evaluating whether a slit on an instrument panel rear face is fused in a high temperature environment with high accuracy and in a short period of time.SOLUTION: The inspection method inspects whether a slit formed on a rear face of a skin (L) obtained by performing slush molding of thermoplastic powder (P) and used for an instrument panel of an automobile interior component is fused in a high temperature environment. The inspection method for inspecting a thermoplastic resin skin for an instrument panel creates a skin (L) by using the thermoplastic powder (P), measures shear dynamic viscoelasticity to calculate a shear storage elastic modulus (x), and determines whether the skin (L) is fused at a dynamic viscoelasticity measurement temperature or below from a measurement value of (x).
