    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an antistatic agent for a silicone resin by using an organopolysiloxane having in its molecule an ionic group. SOLUTION: This antistatic agent for a silicone resin comprises an organopolysiloxane having in its molecule a portion contg. an ionic group. Pref., the portion contg. an ionic group in the molecule has such a molecular structure that two or more nonionic molecular chains and two or more chains of ionic group are present with the nonionic molecular chain and the ionic group being alternately repeated, and the total number of carbon atoms, oxygen atoms, and nitrogen atoms in the nonionic molecular chain is 2 to 30. The nonionic molecular chain is a molecular chain consisting of a divalent org. group alone or alternatively a divalent molecular chain of a plurality of divalent org. groups bonded to each other or one another, and the divalent org. group is preferably one member selected from the group consisting of a divalent org. group having a divalent hydrocarbon group, an ether group, a carbonyl group, an ester group, an amide group, a urethane group, a urea group, a divalent org. group having an N- or O-contg. heterocyclic structure, and a (poly) oxyalkylene group.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compsn. having an excellent capability to remove adhered stains without making it water repellent so that contamination from stains is prevented, by having, as the indispensable components, a resin having a reactive functional group with a specific range of glass transition temp., a curing agent having a functional group reactive with the above-described functional group, a silicate compd. and/or a condensate thereof and a compd. having specific ranges of b.p., m.p. and SP value. SOLUTION: This compd. has, as the indispensable components, a resin (A) having at least one reactive functional group in a molecule, the resin having a glass transition point of 20-120 deg.C and being selected from the group consisting of a vinyl, a polyester, an epoxy and a urethane resin, a curing agent (B) having a functional group reactive with the above-described functional group, a silicate compd. (condensate) having the formula: (R'O)4Si and a compd. having a b.p. in the range of 140-350 deg.C an m.p. in the range of 40-180 deg.C and an SP value in the range of 11-14, In the formula, R' is 1-12C alkyl, alkenyl, (alkyl)aryl or aralkyl. The combination of (the functional group of component A)/(the functional group of component B) is pref. epoxy/COOH, COOH/epoxy or OH/ blocked NCO.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an antibacterial agent for a silicone resin by including a specific organopolysiloxane, capable of imparting a permanent antistatic power and/or an antibacterial characteristic when internally added to the silicone resin in a small amount without imparting the intrinsic properties of the silicone resin. SOLUTION: This antibacterial agent for a silicone resin is prepared by including an organopolysiloxane having an unit containing a cationic group in its molecule, expressed preferably by formula I [wherein, R is a monovalent hydrocarbon; (m) and (n) are each 0-1,000 with proviso that (m) and (n) are not 0 at the same time; X-Z are each a group of formula II or the like; R1, R4 are R7 are each a molecular chain consisting of a divalent organic group selected from a (poly)oxyalkylene; R2, R3, R5, R6 and R8-R10 are each a monovalent hydrocarbon capable of having OH substituent; W- is an anion; (a) and (b) are each 0-100 with proviso that (a) and (b) are not 0 at the same time]. The agent is useful as incorporation one into silicone resin products such as silicone foam, a silicone sealant, silicone rubber or the like.
