SOLUTION: In this coupling having a coupling main body and a nut and for connecting the metal flexible pipe in which an external face of a metal corrugated pipe is coated with a synthetic resin layer, a passage through which gas passes and which communicates a gap for passing of gas between the metal corrugated pipe and the synthetic resin layer with outside of the coupling is provided in the coupling main body and/or the nut. The passage through which gas passes is closed by a selective permeation member for allowing permeation of gas but preventing permeation of solid and liquid.     • PURPOSE:To secure such a resin tube takeout coupling that is easy to manufacture and of sure sealability by enlarging the diameter of a stiffener fitted in the one end side inner surface of a resin short tube, and locking this short tube to a coupling body. CONSTITUTION:A left end side of a polyethylene short tube 3 is fitted in the inner surface of a groove 1b formed on an inner surface at the right end side of a coupling body 1, while a packing 6 is fitted in an intermediate part outer surface of the polyethylene short tube 3, and an outer surface of the packing 6 contacts the right end inner surface of the coupling body 1 and an inner surface of a cylindrical part 2b of a resin covered layer 2. A stiffener 7 with a flange projected outward to the cylindrical left end is fitted in a left end inner surface of the short tube 3, and this stiffener 7 is extended of its diameter larger than the original form, and in the extended state intact, the polyethylene short tube 3 is clamped to the coupling body 1. Since this short tube 3 is bitten into the groove 1b of the coupling body 1, it shows its pull-out inhibiting force, and the packing 6 prevents any leak of internal fluid and, what is more, it prevents any external fluid from penetrating, thus it serves external anticorrosion.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of serious leakage during the occurrence of a fire and to provide reliable sealing ability in an ordinary working state. CONSTITUTION: A joint sleeve 20 is oscillatorily coupled to a coupling body 10 in a seal state through compression of seal packings 31 and 32. Even when the seal packings 31 and 32 are burnt out during the occurrence of a fire, since a thermal expansion packing 40 mounted in a recessed groove 15 is expanded to embed the outer surface of the protrusion spherical surface 21 of the joint sleeve 20, serious leakage does not occur. Further, since the thermal expansion packing 40 presses the maximum diameter part on a central axis of the protrusion spherical surface 21 toward the central side is moved to one of the right and the left on an axis to prevent the increase of the expansion space of the thermal expansion packing 40, and fire resisting performance by the thermal expansion packing 40 is ensured. This constitution ensures sealing ability of an oscillating coupling part between the coupling body 10 and the joint sleeve 20, and prevents leakage of fluid, such as city gas, flowing through the coupling.
