A method includes determining to stop using a first Secondary (S)-Frequency Assignment (FA) of one or more S-FAs while communicating with a correspondent node over a Primary (P)-FA and the one or more S-FAs, sending a first message which requests to suspend the first S-FA, to the correspondent node, communicating over at least one FA excluding the first S-FA, and when resumption of the first S-FA is determined, sending a second message which requests to resume the first S-FA.

摘要： A wireless communication system that divides an entire frequency band into a plurality of subcarrier bands and includes a plurality of subchannels, each of which includes a number of subcarrier bands. The number of subcarrier groups is equal to the number of the base stations included in the system and are generated by classifying the subcarrier bands in a period. For a particular base station, corresponding subcarrier bands are detected from each of the groups according to a sequence. The subcarrier bands detected from each of the groups are assigned as a subchannel for the particular base station. Further, the indexes of the subcarrier groups to which each of subcarriers constituting a subchannel belongs are changed whenever the subchannel is assigned, so as to acquire the desired diversity gain.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for circuit mode resource allocation in a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) system is disclosed. The method includes generating a first resource allocation message which comprises currently used slot bitmap information with respect to a circuit mode region in a frame; allocating resources to one or more terminals with respect to currently unused slots in the circuit mode region according to the currently used slot bitmap information; and generating a second resource allocation message which comprises information relating to the resource allocation. Thus, the effective circuit mode resource allocation can be achieved without holes in the circuit mode, while maintaining backward compatibility with the existing standards.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for configuring an uplink frame in an OFDMA based wireless communication system. The total band of the uplink frame is divided into a predetermined number of subcarrier groups. Subcarriers within the respective allocated subcarrier groups are allocated to the subchannel defined for a predetermined number of consecutive symbols defined by slots in the uplink frame. Pilot subcarriers are allocated by the unit of the predetermined number of symbols so as to allow channel estimation from among the allocated subcarriers. Accordingly, data subcarriers are allocated by minimizing collision with specific users of adjacent cells so as to enable channel estimation using preambles in a cellular system, and some positions of the data subcarriers are allocated for pilots, thereby allowing synchronous demodulation and improving frequency reuse rates.

摘要： Method for paging a MS in a mixed deployment of femto paging areas and macro paging areas in the network is provided. The presence information of the MS is tracked using atleast two paging areas when the MS is in a first zone, wherein the first zone is overlapped by a femto paging area and a first macro paging area and the MS is subscribed to a set of CSG femto cells that are allowed for the MS in the femto paging area. The two paging areas are the femto paging area and the first macro paging area. The presence information of the MS is received by the network when the MS moves from the first zone to a second zone, wherein the second zone is overlapped by the femto paging area and a second macro paging area. The network, based on the received presence information, pages the MS only in a subset of the CSG femto cells that are allowed for the MS in the second zone.

摘要： Information for different subscribers of a service with the same modulation and channel encoding method is transmitted by allocating radio resources in a wireless portable Internet system. Also, identifier information on the subscriber of a concurrently allocated radio resource is transmitted through common control information. Therefore, information for a plurality of subscribers coexists in a single radio resource block, and it can be easily transmitted. Since a subscriber station which has received downlink information can know to which radio resource block the information for the corresponding station is allocated through the subscriber identifier information transmitted as common control information, the subscriber station can access desired information by accessing a specific radio resource block to which information for the subscriber is allocated in the received frame.
