摘要： A radio link failure detection method of a user equipment transitioning between a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) mode and non-DRX mode cyclically in a wireless communication system includes transitioning between a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) mode and a non-DRX mode in a wireless communication system. The method also includes adjusting, when a mode transition occurs, a size of a monitoring window for a transitioned operation mode; reporting a radio channel condition acquired by monitoring and averaging the channel condition within the monitoring window; and repeating adjustment of the monitoring window size and report of the radio channel condition while moving the monitoring window as time progress.

Specifically, a method is provided in a user equipment for optimizing a system resource related to a random access channel in a wireless communication system. A downlink channel condition and a transmission capability for performing random access to a base station based on a stored message size parameter are measured. The measured downlink channel condition and the measured transmission capability are reported. The method for receiving MBMS in a radio communication system includes receiving User Service Description (USD) information including time information of the MBMS in a connected mode, determining whether a session of the MBMS has started based on the time information, and receiving, when the MBMS session has started, MBMS data of the MBMS session. The MBMS service reception method and apparatus of the present invention facilitates receiving the MBMS service.

摘要： A method and apparatus for managing multiple Timing Advance Groups (TAGs) operating with different timings are provided for use in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system. The method for managing multiple TAGs at a base station of a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes categorizing a plurality of carriers into at least one TAG according to a predetermined rule, assigning a TAG index to each TAG, transmitting the TAG index to a terminal, generating a Timing Advance Command (TAC) for synchronization, and transmitting the TAC to the terminal in a random access process. The method and apparatus for managing TAGs according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention is capable of informing of the timing advance group to which each carrier belongs and managing multiple timing advance groups efficiently without signaling overhead.

摘要： The present invention relates to a transmission of a random access in a specific cell from a plurality of serving cells in a mobile communication system using a carrier aggregation technology, and a method for efficiently transmitting uplink channels other than the random access in another cell. In particular, the method for a terminal to transmit an uplink channel to a base station comprises the steps of: confirming whether an uplink channel for a second carrier having an uplink timing different from a first carrier is included in a subframe transmitting a random access preamble for the first carrier; if included, confirming whether the sum of the electric power required for the transmission of the random access preamble and the electric power required for the transmission of the uplink channel exceeds the maximum transmission electric power of the terminal; and, if exceeding, transmitting the random access preamble preferentially before the uplink channel. In addition, the terminal for transmitting an uplink channel to a base station comprises: a transmitter/receiver for transmitting/receiving a signal to/from the base station; and a control unit for confirming whether the uplink channel for a second carrier having an uplink timing different from a first carrier is included in a subframe for transmitting a random access preamble for the first carrier, and if included, confirming whether the sum of the electric power required for transmitting the random access preamble and the electric power required for transmitting the uplink channel exceeds the maximum transmission electric power of the terminal, and if exceeding, controlling the transmission so that the random access preamble is preferentially transmitted before the uplink channel.
