摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce flaws on a surface in abrasive machining for a glass substrate for a magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: This abrasive device consists of a double-face sander 1 for carrying out abrasive machining for a glass substrate for a magnetic recording medium by using an abrasive lubricant mixed with abrasive, and an abrasive lubricant circulating device 2 for re-supplying the abrasive lubricant used for the abrasive machining to the double-face sander 1. In this case, the abrasive lubricant circulating device 2 consists of a first tank 21 for inflowing the abrasive lubricant used for the abrasive machining, and a second tank 22 interposed between the first tank 21 and the double-face sander 1. In the first tank 21, sedimentation separation of a glass substance from an abrasive is carried out and the sedimeted abrasive mixed abrasive lubricant is discharged to the second tank 22. The abrasive lubricant mixed only abrasive is supplied from second tank 22 to the double-face sander 1.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the surface roughness of a specific range, by impregnating a fiber base material of nonwoven fabric with a polyurethane resin, and solidifying the same in wet to obtain the hardness of a specific range. SOLUTION: A substrate 1 is placed between a polishing pad 3 fixed to an upper surface plate made of cast iron, and a polishing pad 4 fixed to a lower surface plate with the proper pressure in a double face polishing machine, and the polishing fluid containing a polishing agent 5 is supplied between the polishing pads 3, 4 and the substrate 1, to perform the polishing by rotating and sliding the polishing pads 3, 4. On this occasion, the polishing pads 3, 4 which are prepared by impregnating the fiber base material of nonwoven fabric with a polyurethane resin, and solidifying the same in wet, and has 75-85 of hardness by a hardness test (A-type) stipulated by JIS K6301, are pasted to the upper and lower surface plates. Whereby the surface roughness of the substrate for a magnetic recording medium can be finished within a specific range constantly.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding wheel for working inside and outside diameters, which satisfies both reduction in working hours and prevention of generation of breakage and chips when the inside and outside diameters of a substrate for a magnetic recording medium are worked, also to provide a working method using this grinding wheel. SOLUTION: A grinding wheel 1 for working an inside diameter and a grinding wheel 6 for working an outside diameter that are bodies of revolution of a spool-shape are respectively composed of the first member having coarse grinding wheel grains and the second member having fine grinding wheel grains. The grinding wheel 1 for working an inside diameter and the grinding wheel 6 for working an outside diameter have grooves of a trapezoidal cross section. The grooves have preferably slopes with an inclination of 41 deg. or above and 47 or below against a perpendicular line to an axis of the body of revolution, and the first member preferably has grinding wheel grain of #50-#350, the second member preferably has grinding wheel grain of #380-#1000. First, the working of inside and outside diameters of the substrate is performed by the first member, then the working of inside and outside diameters is performed by the second member.

摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress the protrusion of biologically active glass when a flat metal core is coated with the molten biologically active glass by setting off the expansion of said glass due to the surface tension thereof, by forming a recessed part to the bottom part and/or side part of the flat metal core. CONSTITUTION:Between leg parts 4, 4, the connection part 8 connecting the leg parts 4, 4 are formed from the base part 2 of said leg parts so as to be connected thereto. The connection part 8 is formed so as to be thinner than each of the leg parts 4, 4 and gentle recessed part 10 are formed from the side parts of the leg parts 4, 4 to the side surface parts of the connection parts 8. The insides of the lower end parts of the leg parts 4, 4 are not connected by the connection part 8 and a separate recessed part 12 is formed from the insides of the lower end parts of the leg parts 4, 4 to the lower end part of the connection part 8. This metal core is immersed in molten biologically active glass (1070 deg.C) and drawn up to be cooled to obtain a dental implant coated with biologically active glass 14. The applied biologically active glass 14 is drawn in the recessed part 12 at the bottom part to be prevented from protruding downwardly and also drawn in the recessed parts 10 at the side parts to be prevented from protruding outwardly.
