    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the constructing property by providing a protruding part in the space part between adjacent steel erosion control units so as to obstruct the space part. SOLUTION: A steel strut provided on the upstream side of the flowing direction of debris flow and a steel strut 2 provided on the downstream side are vertically and horizontally rigid-connected by a horizontal binder 4 on the like to form a steel erosion control unit 5. The units 5 are arranged with a space S in the cross direction of a weir bank 7 by fixing each strut 2 on the like to the foundation concrete 8 of the weir bank 7. A protruding part 10 is provided in the part of the space S between the adjacent units 5 so as to obstruct the space S, and the space S is set to a size approximate to the maximum diameter of gravels included in debris to catch the gravels and driftwood. Further, each space W in the cross direction of the weir bank 7 between the struts 2 on the like is also set to a space approximate to the maximum diameter of the gravels included in the debris. According to this, the space between the units can be largely designed and constructed since the protruding part is provided, and the number of units can be reduced to reduce the cost.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permeable check dam and a manufacturing method therefor, which can inhibit the downstream flow of earth and rocks only in an abnormal deluge while maintaining prescribed strength or above, and which enable the provision of an optimal sediment trapping function based on a condition of sedimentation upstream from the permeable check dam without causing a decrease in strength. SOLUTION: This permeable check dam permits the running earth and rocks to flow downstream in an ordinary deluge, and inhibits the running earth and rocks from flowing downstream in the abnormal deluge. The check dam has: a concrete structure 2 which is equipped with slits 3 for making the earth and the rocks permeate to a downstream side, and laid so as to block the downstream flow of the earth and the rock; cylindrical bodies 5 which are provided in the slits 3 so as to make the upstream side of the concrete structure 2 communicate with the downstream side thereof, and whose bores are set to be equivalent to a maximum gravel diameter of the earth and the rocks, running in the ordinary deluge; and filling concrete parts 4 which are formed by filling the insides of the slits 3 with concrete. • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the construction for preventing and stopping the generation of avalanche of sand and stone and capable of showing functions for preventing and stopping generation of avalanche of sand and stone for a long time without a concrete placing work. SOLUTION: A construction 1 for preventing and stopping generation of avalanche of sand and stone is formed by integrally connecting a downstream side square frame 2a and an upstream side square frame 2b through steel pipes 2c and H-shaped steels 2d, and a basket- like cylindrical body 2, from which these steel pipe 2c and the H-shaped steel 2d are projected out of the upstream side square frame 2b thereof, is continuously provided on the floor so that a lower surface of the downstream side square frame 2a of the upstream side basket-like cylindrical body 2 is arranged on the H-shaped steel 2d of the downstream side basket cylindrical body 2 and so that the projecting part of the steel pipe 2c of the downstream side basket- like cylindrical body 2 is arranged inside of the downstream side square frame 2a of the upstream side basket-like cylindrical body 2. Water included in the sand and stone layer piled in the periphery is drained, and water in the avalanche of sand and stone is drained so as to stop the sand and stone over a wide range. With this structure, functions for preventing and stopping generation of avalanche of sand and stone can be showed for a long time without placing concrete.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent movement of an aqueduct after an avalanche of sand and stone is captured by a method wherein the position of a beam between the columns of the central part of a permeation part of which a weir is composed is lowered to a level lower than that of a beam between other columns and by a distance shorter than a distance between the columns 1. CONSTITUTION:The position of a steel pipe beam 2 between steel pipe columns 1 at the central part of a permeation part of which a permeation type weir is composed is lowered to a level lower than that of a beam 2 between other columns 1. The position of the steel pipe beam 2 at a topmost stage between the steel pipes column 1 is gradually raised to a level higher than the position of the beam 2 between the columns 1 at the central part of the permeation part from the central part toward both sides. And the beam 2 is arranged by a distance shorter than a distance between the columns 1 below the beam 2 at a topmost stage between the columns 1. This constitution pushes out a larger quantity of stone gravels, accumulated at the beam 2 at the central part, of relatively smaller stone gravels subsequently accumulated on stone gravels having a maximum size captured by the weir, causes centralization of flowing water to a central part, and ensures an aqueduct.
