摘要： The present invention relates to a rapid and readily reproducible process for stabilizing biologically active substances by combining the biologically active substance witha a stabilizingmixture and drying the resulting mixture into a dry, amorphous product by means of convection drying. The invention also relates to the amorphous, microscopically homogeneous products which are obtained by this process, are in the form of powders and have a uniform geometric, in particular spherical, shape. The invention furthermore relates to the use of substance mixtures for stabilizing biologically active material, in particular proteins by means of spray drying.

摘要： The present invention concerns processes for the production of dry, partially amorphous products containing biologically active and in particular therapeutically active material which are macroscopically homogeneous substance mixtures, the substance mixtures being selected from at least one substance of each of the groups (i) carbohydrate or zwitterion with a polar residue and derivatives thereof, and (ii) zwitterion with an apolar residue and derivatives thereof, wherein a solution is prepared of the biologically or therapeutically active material and of substances (i) and (ii) and the solution is dried at a product temperature above the freezing point of the solution. In addition the invention concerns new substance mixtures which are obtained by the said process as well as the use thereof in diagnostic or therapeutic methods.

摘要： Featured is a method for injection of a payload into the tissues of an organism or a body, including the steps of generating forces by electromagnetic repulsion and accelerating the payload to be injected, using the generated electromagnetic forces. The payload is thereby accelerated to a velocity sufficient for the payload to pass through the skin of the organism and be disposed in the subcutaneous tissues. The method further includes providing an electromagnetic force generating device that generates forces electromagnetically in a predetermined direction responsive to an electric current flowing through the device, wherein the step of generating includes passing an electric current through the electromagnetic force generating device to generate the electromagnetic repulsive forces used for accelerating the payload. Also featured is a electromagnetic force generating mechanism that includes a conductive member, which is configured so as to generate electromagnetic repulsive forces in a given direction to accelerate the payload responsive to a pulsed current passing through the conductive member. Additionally featured is an electromagnetic transdermal injection device including such an electromagnetic force generating mechanism, an electrical power supply and a switch that selectively interconnects the power supply and force generating mechanism to accelerate a payload such as a medicine.

摘要： A hypodermic injection system allows for the generation of a high pressure liquid jet capable of passing through the skin. The system uses two regions, the first region being flexible or squeezable and the second region having at least one exiting orifice through which the liquid jet can be expelled. The flexible region can be deformed by a pressure change in the surrounding container generated by an activatable gas generator that generates pressure within the first region that causes the liquid to be expelled.
