摘要： A catalyst active in the (co)polymerization of .alpha.-olefins is obtained by putting the following components in contact with each other: (i) a "bridged" bis-metallocene derivative of a metal M selected from titanium, zirconium or hafnium, wherein the divalent "bridge" has a rigid structure linked to two .eta..sup.5 -cyclopentadienyl ring with two methylene groups having a distance from each other of less than 3.5 .ANG.;(ii) a co-catalyst consisting of an organic derivative of a metal M' selected from boron, aluminium, gallium and tin. Such a catalyst allows high polymerization rates to be reached and is particularly suitable for high temperature polymerization process and co-polymerization of ethylene with other .alpha.-olefins.

摘要： Metallocene complexes of a metal M selected from titanium, zirconium and hafnium, comprising at least one anionic group A containing an .eta..sup.5 -cyclopentadienyl ring co-ordinated with the metal M, wherein the anionic group is substituted in at least one position of the cyclopentadienyl ring with a radical having the formula:Ph*--(CR.sup.6 R.sup.7).sub.nwherein: R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are independently hydrogen, halogen or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl group, preferably hydrogen, "n" is 0 or 1, preferably 1, Ph* is a C.sub.6 -C.sub.14 group comprising an aromatic ring linked to --CR.sup.6 R.sup.7 -- or to A and substituted with at least one and up to a maximum of three electron-attractor groups, on the condition that, when A is an .eta..sup.5 -indenyl group and "n" is 0, at least one Ph group is linked to A in position 1 or 3 of indenyl.These complexes can be used in (co)polymerization processes of .alpha.-olefins, possibly in the presence of a suitable co-catalyst, for the production of polyolefins with a very high molecular weight.

摘要： The invention relates to a chemiluminescent composition, i.e. one which emits light when its various constituent components are mixed together.The composition consists of at least two separate solutions of at least one oxalate, at least one fluorescent substance, hydrogen peroxide and at least one catalyst, in which those components which react together are kept separated. The characteristic of the 9,10-bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene is that the oxalate is a bis(dihalo-acylphenyl)oxalate. This compound is easily and economically produced and is easily soluble in the solvents used, to provide high-intensity light emission for long time periods. The 2,4- or 2,6-acyl substituted phenyloxalate also forms a subject matter of the invention.

摘要： An improved method for synthesizing alkylpolyglucosides comprising reacting a glycoside with a long-chain alcohol in the presence of a novel type of catalyst, constituted by an alkali or aryl sulfonic acid, wherein the sulfonic group is sterically hindered. Using these catalysts, a raw product is obtained which is practically free from byproducts. The resulting alkyl polyglucosides are completely biodegradable surfactants and can be used to formulate detergents.
