    • A method and arrangement for conveying selected media content from a sending entity (A) to a receiving terminal (B) when the sending entity sends the media content for immediate delivery over IP. A session manager detects that the receiving terminal is unable to receive the selected multimedia content by immediate delivery over IP. A format converter (308,608) converts the media content into a format adapted for deferred delivery involving temporary storage of the media content in an intermediate messaging center (310,610), and sends the converted media content to the messaging center for deferred delivery to the receiving terminal. The session manager and the format converter are both implemented in an originating multimedia service network (300,600) serving the sending entity, or in a terminating multimedia service network (302,602) serving the receiving terminal.

    • Method and apparatus for sending a large Multimedia Message, such as a MMS from a first terminal (10) to at least one second terminal (14) via a first network node (12) comprised in a communication network. The first network node (12) receives (30) the Multimedia Message from the first terminal (10) and divides (31) the Multimedia Message into a first part and at least one additional part. Next the first network node (12) adds (32) to the first part a reference to the at least one additional part and sends (33) the first part to the at least one second terminal (14). The first network node (12) then sends (34) the at least one additional part to the at least one second terminal (14) when requested by the at least one second terminal.

    • A method, a computer program, a computer program product and a user equipment (6) comprising a contacts database (16) and being connected to a telecommunications network (12) and to a displaying device (3) over a wireless local network (5). The method comprises the steps of: wirelessly receiving incoming caller information via the telecommunications network, determining based on the caller information, if there is additional information in the contacts database associated with the caller, determining if the local network is the same as a predefined network, and if the local network is the same as the predefined network perform the steps of: creating a message (19) comprising some of the received caller information and at least some of the additional information, sending the message to the displaying device to enable the displaying device to show the additional information comprised in the message.

    • A Proxy Unit is connectable to a communication network and is arranged to enable IP Communication with a Machine to Machine Unit. The Proxy Unit receives and stores in a session data base a first IP address a device identifier and a unique ID of the Machine to Machine Unit. The Proxy Unit then receives from a Machine to Machine application a message destined to the Machine to Machine Unit and comprising the unique ID of the Machine to Machine Unit. The Proxy Unit finds the associated device identifier and the first IP address in the session data base, using the received unique ID. If the Proxy Unit detects no active session for the Machine to Machine Unit, it uses the device identifier to send a wake up message to the Machine to Machine Unit for enabling IP communication.
