    • A toy water gun system includes a primary water gun having a housing, a pressurizable reservoir, an outlet nozzle in flow communication with the reservoir, and an actuating trigger, with the primary toy water gun adapted to discharge an output stream of water through the outlet nozzle in response to actuation of the trigger. The housing includes a first receiving area and a second receiving area, with each receiving area having an output port in flow communication with the reservoir via a conduit, a pair of valves to control flow through the conduits. A first detachable water toy mounts to the housing at the first receiving area and receives water from the reservoir, and a second detachable water toy mounts to the housing at the second receiving area. The first and second detachable water toys are selectively removable from the primary water toy for use.

    • The invention is directed to a sprinkler toy and a method for producing a geyser-like burst of liquid supplied by a source of pressurized liquid. The sprinkler toy may include a reservoir in fluid communication with the pressurized liquid source, wherein the volume of the reservoir may increase as the liquid is supplied to the reservoir by the pressurized liquid source. The sprinkler toy may further include a valve in fluid communication with the reservoir and operatively coupled to the reservoir, wherein the valve may be moveable between a closed position and an open position, wherein the increase of the volume of the reservoir from a first volume to a second volume may cause the valve to move from the closed position to the open position, and wherein the pressure within the reservoir when the valve moves to the open position may cause a geyser-like burst of liquid stored in the reservoir to discharge through the valve. In alternate embodiments, the sprinkler toy may further include nozzles in fluid communication with the pressurized water source and providing a constant discharge of liquid, and a housing having moving components that move in response to the increase in volume of the reservoir.

Both the knob and the wheel have axially align protrusions that may engage each other to allow the wheel to be rotationally adjusted to correct any jam or misalignment of the darts stored on the wheel. A flexible arm and a pusher structure are also included with the magazine apparatus and are connected to a constant force spring, where the flexible arm and a portion of the constant force spring are lodged in the chamber of the hollow support during a dart loading process of the wheel, and the constant force spring uncoils when the wheel is rotated during the loading process. The constant force spring biases the wheel to feed the darts from both the drum and the clip to a firing position at the end of the clip located in the launcher, but the constant force spring is insufficient to discharge the darts when the magazine is not connected to the launcher.

    • A toy dart magazine apparatus that includes a housing divided into a drum portion and a clip portion, and a wheel structure rotatably mounted to the drum portion. The wheel has four portions, two spaced apart portions having peripheral recesses for receiving the darts and storing them until they are “fired” by a launcher to which the dart magazine apparatus is mounted. A third portion having a smooth circumference and a smaller diameter than the two recess bearing portions wherein the third portion separates the two spaced apart portions. The fourth portion of the wheel has a larger diameter than the two recess bearing portions and is positioned adjoining one of the two recess bearing portions for aligning the darts relative to the wheel. The wheel also includes an opening in the third portion leading to a chamber in a hollow support of the wheel. A spring-biased knob is mounted on a shaft that also mounts the wheel. Both the knob and the wheel have axially align protrusions that may engage each other to allow the wheel to be rotationally adjusted to correct any jam or misalignment of the darts stored on the wheel.     • A toy gun system for launching foam projectiles includes a primary gun having a pneumatic system, a launch station in flow communication with the pneumatic system, and first, second and third triggers, with the primary gun adapted to launch a projectile from the launch station in response to actuation of the first trigger. The primary gun includes first and second receiving areas, each with plungers or actuators responsive to trigger movement, with the first receiving area having an output port and valve in flow communication with the pneumatic system. A first detachable gun is sized for mounting to the first receiving area and has a pneumatic system arranged to receive pressurized air from the primary gun, and a second detachable gun is sized for mounting at the second receiving area. Each of the first and second detachable guns may be operated while attached to the primary gun, and may be selectively removable from the primary gun for use.

    • The present invention is directed to a toy gun system that may include a toy gun having a housing with a nozzle, wherein the toy water gun may be adapted to discharge an output stream of liquid through the nozzle. The toy gun system may further include a wheel fabricated from an absorbent material, and a support member mounted on the housing of the toy gun that may have the wheel rotatably mounted thereon. The wheel may be disposed proximate the nozzle of the toy gun and positioned such that at least a portion of the output stream of liquid impacts the at least a portion of the wheel to cause the wheel to rotate. The at least a portion of the liquid in the at least a portion of the output stream of liquid may be absorbed into the at least a portion of the wheel impacted by the at least a portion of the output stream of liquid, and the at least a portion of the liquid absorbed into the at least a portion of the wheel may be projected outwardly from the at least a portion of the wheel by resultant forces of the rotation of the wheel. At least one of the toy gun, the wheel and the support member may adapted to cause a sound to be generated by the toy gun system when the at least a portion of the of the output stream of liquid impacts the at least a portion of the wheel to cause the wheel to rotate.

    • In a method and apparatus for identifying and distinguishing fungal species, a hyperspectral imaging scanner is used to acquire hyperspectral image data for radiation obtained from a sample area in which at least one unknown fungal species is present. A computer compares the acquired hyperspectral image data with spectral signature data stored in a digital library, which includes spectral signature data for each one of a group of known fungal species, and identifies the fungal species, based on the result of such comparison. The spectral signature data stored in the digital library take into account, for each fungal species, spectral variations that can occur due to at least one of environmental and temporal influences. The computer comparison includes a pixel-by-pixel analysis of the degree of difference between acquired hyperspectral image data and the spectral signature data, so that a spatial distribution of identified fungal species can be determined for a sample area.

The downspout is curved and rotatable from a down position when it is in use/storage to an up position when it is not in use and a stabilizing clip is mounted on the downspout to secure a separate polishing tube when it is in the down or horizontal position to allow one handle to lift two pipes at the same time for removal of the filter pan. An inline removable filter is provided in the oil return line, and the return line is slidably supported on the side of the filter pan so that it can rise and fall with the debris in the filter pan.

    • A metering apparatus 10 for continuously supplying a specified amount of fluid material F to a desired surface. The apparatus 10 includes a reservoir 14 for maintaining a supply of fluid material, a housing 16 having a central bore 22 therethrough, a receiving opening 24 for receiving fluid material from the reservoir 14 to central bore 22, and an exit opening 26 through which fluid material exits the housing 16. A rotatable screw member 28 is provided engaged through the housing 16 within said central bore 22, and a driver 37 engaged with the screw member for rotating the screw member within the bore at between approximately 1 rpm to 2,700 rpm, and preferably approximately 1,750 rpm, in order to continuously supply fluid to the exit opening 26. At this operating level, fluid material is provided from the exit opening 26 at a flow rate of between approximately 1 to 23 grams/min, and in a thickness of approximately 0.001 to 8 mils. The reservoir 14 includes a tank 50 for the fluid material, and a motor 68 for agitating the fluid during operation of the apparatus 10. The housing 16 is secured adjacent the tank 50 to provide the fluid material from the tank to the receiving opening 24.
