摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device enabling improvement of productivity.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device includes: a sheet cutting device which has a cutter unit holding a cutter comprising circular cutting tools arranged opposing to each other via roll paper and movable in the sheet width direction and cuts the roll paper to predetermined length; a sheet carrying part carrying the roll paper; and a control part controlling the sheet carrying part and the cutter unit. The ink jet recording device can move to the sheet width direction while retracting to the sheet thickness direction relative to a sheet carrying path, after the cutter unit cuts the roll paper. The control part controls the roll paper to enable carrying while the cutter unit moves in the sheet width direction in the retracting state in the sheet thickness direction (Step 15).
