摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten print time in a print mode which has high probability where no band as a blank space exists in image data.SOLUTION: A CPU 404 determines a print mode when starting printing (S801), and sets a blank space skip function to ON or OFF according to the print mode (S805). The CPU 404 performs detection of a blank space and image accumulation if the blank space skip function is ON, and does not perform the detection of the blank space and the image accumulation if the blank space skip function is OFF (a copy print mode or a security print mode).
