摘要： In accordance with the present invention, a method, which may be implemented by employing a program storage device, for determining yield loss for a device includes the steps of determining killing probabilities corresponding to values of inspection parameters based on historic inspection information, determining defects on the device and ordering the defects by classifying the defects according to the inspection parameters. The defects adopt the killing probabilities associated with the same values of the inspection parameters. The method further includes the step of calculating a predicted yield loss based on the defects and the adopted killing probabilities. The method further includes the step of applying statistical process control to the predicted yield loss for all in-line inspection (process) steps.

Once a protection element is in the on-position (100), a selection signal is transmitted from an emitter to a receiver provided in the protection element, in order to associate the protection element with the emitter and to shift said protection element into a connection mode (110). The deactivation (111) of the receiver reduces the energy consumption of the protection element, and prevents the protection element from unintentionally receiving other selection signals. Once the protection element has been shifted (112) into an alarm state (120), for example, due to an attempted theft, the receiver thereof is reactivated, in order to reauthorize the reception of a selection signal. The alarm state (120) can be terminated (123) by one such selection signal.

摘要： A device for mechanically securing an article against theft is suggested, wherein the device comprises a first holding component with a securing surface for securing to an object, a second holding component for securing to the article, a cable connecting the two holding components and connecting components respectively associated with the holding components and having undercut sections for providing a releasable, form-locking holding connection of the two holding components. A very simple handling of the device is achieved by the fact that at least one of the connecting components comprises an undercut section with a mating surface inclined in relation to the securing surface such that the holding connection can be released by means of a releasing force acting at right angles to the securing surface.
