摘要： This proxy for at least one end-to-end data flow in a network comprises an estimation unit, for estimating the current minimum data load necessary to occupy the bandwidth available to the flow in the network. The estimation unit outputs a flow's pipe capacity estimation. This proxy also comprises a comparison unit, for comparing the estimated pipe capacity with a predetermined capacity threshold, a decision unit, for deciding to proxy the end-to-end flow if the estimated pipe capacity lies above the capacity threshold, and a routing unit, for routing the flow according to the decision.

Once formatted pursuant to the common format, data generated during operation of two different types of communication systems can be communicated over a common radio link. A single frequency band can be used to communicate communication signals generated during operation of at least two separate communication systems.

Subsequently, at least one of the first and second user units (110, 120) is coupled over a communications network to the central interface unit (130) so that the transfer of at least one of the media file and its associated usage rights data from the first user unit (110) to the second user unit (120) may be logged.
