摘要： An access device adapted and configured to be inserted through a natural biological orifice, and related surgical methods are provided. The access device includes a body, a nozzle means and means for delivering a pressurized flow of fluid to the nozzle means. The body is configured and dimensioned to be inserted through a natural bodily orifice and has proximal and distal end portions and defines at least one lumen therethrough to accommodate passage of one or more surgical instruments. The nozzle means is operatively associated with the body for directing pressurized fluid into the lumen to develop a pressure differential in an area within a region within the lumen to form a fluid seal around the one or more surgical instruments passing therethrough.

摘要： Systems for insufflation and recirculation of insufflation fluid in a surgical procedure include a control unit having a fluid pump, a supply conduit, a return fluid conduit and a pressure-controlled valve. The pressure-controlled valve is in fluid communication with an insufflation gas supply, the supply conduit and the return conduit and is adapted and configured to respond to pressure control signals to adjust position and thereby system flow parameters, to reduce entrainment of air from the surrounding environment, and to increase the concentration of insufflation gas in an operative space, and/or to reduce an overpressure condition in the operative space.

摘要： A serving tray is provided for use with a removable cover. The tray is provided with a rim section having a laterally extending ledge portion and a skirt portion depending therefrom. The skirt portion having upper edge segments spaced from the underside of the ledge portion and cooperating therewith to form substantially rigid marginal lips. Cooperating with the tray is a removable cover having an upright wall section encompassing and depending from a top section. The lower edge of the wall section terminates in an outwardly extending first flange. A yieldable second flange extends downwardly and outwardly from the first flange and portions of the second flange cooperate therewith to form a plurality of pockets encompassing and lockingly accommodating the tray lips when said tray and cover ar in assembled relation.

摘要： The present invention relates to a food packaging cover for use with a compatible tray. The cover includes a top section, a wall section, a shoulder section interconnecting the top section and the wall section and a bottom peripheral edge formation designed to lockably engage the tray. The wall section is formed from a repeating pattern of furrows which enhance the strength of the cover. The interconnecting shoulder section is formed from triangular flats interspaced by gusset members to effect substantial uniform distribution to the wall section of a load placed on the top section.

摘要： A therapeutic compression apparatus having a primary wrap, a foot wrap and a stirrup is provided. The primary wrap encircles a first portion of a leg and applies compression thereto. The foot wrap encircles at least a portion of the foot and applies compression thereto. The foot wrap may be integrated with the stirrup, detachably connected or provided separately. The compression apparatus may be configured such that one or more bladders are provided therein. The compression apparatus may include a pressure gauge and pump for controlling an amount of pressure applied to the treatment site. A bladder assembly with a number of fluid bladder configurations is also provided for use within a compression apparatus. The bladder may be configured to provide a gradient pressure profile to the treatment site when filled.
