The pipe end face is then abutted to the jig 17 for positioning the pipe by inserting the pipe from the through hole 21 of the upper and lower backup die holders 3, 4. The end part is then fixed to a fixing jig 12 by inserting the pipe diameter expanding implement 10 into the pipe. The pipe diameter is enlarged by moving the implement 10 to the right part with the cylinder 13 and fixed to the piece 7 and journal 8. The hollow parts is taken off with its knocking out by ascending a pin 16 by ascending the holder 3.

    • PURPOSE:To heighten the shape stability of the whole canopy against a gust and a side wind by forming plural bag like reams partitioned equally in the lateral direction by partition bands, and providing the partition bands with vent holes for communicating adjacent reams with each other. CONSTITUTION:This canopy 10, manufactured into a plane rectangle on the whole, of a paraglider, is partitioned into plural bag like chambers (reams) 11a, 11b... by plural parallel partition bands 12a, 12b.... Intakes 13a, 13b... for taking in air are provided rather at the rear parts of the respective reams 11a... of the canopy 10, and the respective reams 11a... are expanded by filling air from these intakes 13a, 13b... to obtain the blade section of fine streamline shape. The partition bands 12a... are provided with vent holes 14a... for communicating adjacent reams with each other. Accordingly, when a part of the reams 11a... is crushed being affected by a gust or a side wind during flight, the air in the adjacent ream flows into the deformed ream from the vent hole 14a... provided at the partition band 12a... for assistance.

    • PURPOSE:To heighten stability during flight and facilitate control especially by remote control operation by partitioning the lateral side of a rectangle equally by plural partition bands vertical to the lateral side to obtain plural bag like reams, and forming the blade section of each ream in such a way that the reams in the right and left side regions are smaller than those at the center part. CONSTITUTION:The canopy 10, manufactured into a rectangle, of a remote controlled paraglider remote-controlled on the ground, is provided with plural partition bands 12a, 12b... vertical to a lateral side 10B and mutually parallel in the direction of the lateral side JOB of the length L so as to be partitioned into plural air-filled chambers (reams) 11a, 11b.... Each ream 11a... is formed into blade section shape by pneumatic stowing. In this case, it is so formed that the maximum height h1,h2 in the cross section of the reams 11a... at the center part and in a right and a left side regions are to be h1 3h2. This enables the concentration of approximately 70-90% lift at each ream in the right and left side regions from the canopy center part so as to increase stability during flight and to facilitate remote control operation on the ground.
