摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new asphalt (not a synthetic resin) protective sheet, in which deterioration due to hydrolysis, bacteria decomposition, etc., does not progress towards the inside of the weed-preventive protective sheet from a rear brought into contact with the ground surface of the weed-preventive protective sheet and weeds are not penetrated through the sheet for a prolonged term and grown. SOLUTION: The ground-surface slope-face weed-preventive protective sheet is composed of a surface layer 1 consisting of inorganic particles, an improved asphalt layer 2, a base material layer 3, to which weeds are not penetrated by the growth of weeds, the improved asphalt layer 4 and a rear layer 5 selected from a group made up of the film layer of a synthetic resin or a rubber and an inorganic particle layer. The base material layer is selected from a group composed of a layer obtained by impregnating and treating a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric with a treatment having the melting poing of 200 deg.C or higher selected from a group consisting of the rubber and the synthetic resin and a layer acquired by laminating the woven fabric or the nonwoven fabric on both surfaces of a self-supporting film having the melting point of 200 deg.C or higher selected from the group made up of the synthetic resin and the rubber.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying asphalt roofing, with which heating is not required, neither smoke nor offensive smell is emitted, no release sheet occurs, asphalt roofing is stuck fast and fixed to a substrate in an extremely short time and hardly affected by a weather condition and to obtain a modified asphalt emulsion and modified asphalt roofing used therefor. SOLUTION: The modified asphalt emulsion is obtained by using a reactive polyvinyl alcohol as an emulsifying agent in an asphalt emulsion in which asphalt is emulsified and dispersed in water. The method for applying asphalt roofing comprises the steps of mixing the modified asphalt emulsion using the reactive polyvinyl alcohol as the emulsifying agent with a crosslinking agent composed of a compound containing two or more hydrazide groups, coating a substrate with the mixture to form an adhesive layer and applying the asphalt roofing to the adhesive layer, while previously forming a layer composed of a gelling agent of the reactive polyvinyl alcohol on the bonded surface of the asphalt roofing. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make waterproofing work easy by a method wherein a thermoplastic resin bag is filled with a specified improved asphalt composition for sealing waterproof sheet and thereby sealant for waterproof sheet is made up, and the sealant is formed in a barlike, beltlike or cordlike shape. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin bag is filled with a waterproof sheet sealing improved asphalt composition, for which melt viscosity at 100 deg.C is 5,000-100,000 centipoise, low temperature folding endurance is 0 deg.C or below and softening point is 90 deg.C or above. Sealant for waterproof sheet made up by being filled with the asphalt composition is formed in a barlike, beltlike or cordlike shape. Then, the sealant is dipped in 100 deg.C hot water and after the sealant is warmed up to 100 deg.C, a caulking gun is loaded with the sealant and the sealant is supplied to joints of waterproof sheets and thereby the waterproof sheets are joined together. Thermoplastic resin forming the thermoplastic resin bag is such that is not melted at the temperature whereat the asphalt composition is melted and enables the bag to be blown up inside the caulking gun to discharge the asphalt composition. Accordingly, environmental pollution caused by fumes, offensive odor and the like can be prevented.

CONSTITUTION: A sheeting 5 is stuck on a partially bored fibrous sheet 3, thus forming a composite base material. The sheeting 5 is kept protruded from an end section in the longitudinal direction of the composite base material. Mineral granules 1 are scattered and attached onto the surface of the sheet of the composite base material, thus manufacturing a waterproof sheet for insulation. A waterproof layer is formed by sticking a second layer stretching roofing onto the waterproof sheet for insulation by fused asphalt, thus decreasing processes, then shortening the term of works. The waterproof sheet for insulation is overlapped to an adjacent sheet by the protruded sheeting 5 at the end section in the longitudinal direction and glued by fused asphalt, thus mutually reinforcing the waterproof sheets for insulation.
