    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of an operation for laying a roof finishing material on a substrate, suppress the generation of waste on an execution site, prevent the contamination of the roof finishing material at the execution of work, and reduce various costs by facilitating various kinds of operations such as accumulation, transportation, storage, the execution of work and the like, associated with the roof finishing work.
      SOLUTION: In this roof finishing material, a base part and a tab, which are formed by crimping an inorganic layer, are provided on both a surface and a backside. The roof finishing materials such as an asphalt shingle or an incombustible shingle, which are lightweight, flexible and excellent in substrate following properties, are sequentially laid on the substrate by superposing the tab on the base for being joined to a roof substrate part in the laying of the roof finishing material. An adhesive layer 19 is formed in a prescribed place on the backside of the roof finishing material. Furthermore, a release sheet 20 is stuck in a position, corresponding to the adhesive layer 19, on the backside of the roof finishing material, when the roof finishing materials overlap each other in such a manner that the backsides of the roof finishing materials face each other.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel asphalt roofing having both of a property, to which asphalt roofing having high dimensional stability represented by physical properties such that 3% tensile stress prescribed in JIS A 6022 is 40 N/cm (4.1 kgf/cm) or more can correspond, and a property to which flexible asphalt roofing represented by physical properties such that elongation (non-treatment) prescribed in JIS A 6013 is 15% or more can correspond, and capable of clearing both of JIS A 6013 and JIS A 6022, and a base material used therein.
      SOLUTION: The base material for asphalt roofing comprises a nonwoven fabric laminate formed by successively laminating (A) a synthetic resin nonwoven fabric with a basis weight of 20-100 g/m
      2 , (B) a glass mat with a basis weight of 10-70 g/m
      2 , and (C) a synthetic resin nonwoven fabric with a basis weight of 20-100 g/m
      2 . The basis weight of (A) the synthetic resin nonwoven fabric and/or (C) the synthetic resin nonwoven fabric is 1-5 times as much as that of (B) the glass mat, and the nonwoven fabrics (A) and (C) and the glass mat (C) are punched at a density of 10-100 (thrust number of needles/cm

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only provide a built-up roofing material capable of preventing the retention of water in battens for holding tiles by enabling the water leaked from a roof and the like to appropriately flow down without annexing a muntin in a clay tile roofing structure but also enable the built-up roofing material to be easily produced on existing production lines for an asphalt waterproofing sheet. SOLUTION: The built-up roofing material is composed of a base material constituted by impregnating base paper with asphalt, an improved asphalt layer stuck for formation to both surfaces of the base material, and a surface layer constituted by scattering mineral grain on both surfaces of the improved asphalt layer. The roofing material is characterized as follows: one surface of the surface layer is wholly provided with many rainwater passages communicating with one another; and the rising part of the rainwater passage is formed of a resin material welded to the surface layer.
