    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, lightweight braking device for rolling stock, capable of holding an emergency brake for many hours during power failure and dispensing with a large number of accumulators. SOLUTION: An accumulator 6 is connected to piston side oil chambers 4A-4D of brake cylinders 1A-1D, and rod side oil chamber 5A-5D are selectively connected to an accumulator 10 or a tank 11 through solenoid selector valves 9A, 9C. Brake shoes 3A-3D are put in braking action by braking pressure (pressure of the accumulator 6) continuously led into the piston side oil chambers 4A-4D. There is therefore no hindrance to a brake even with an oil leak or the like in a circuit on the accumulator 10 side. A safety solenoid selector valve 21 and a relief valve 22 are series-interposed at a branch circuit to the tank 11 from a circuit of the accumulator 6, and at the time of power failure the safety solenoid selector valve 21 is opened to relieve braking pressure to the set pressure of the relief valve 22. A hydraulic source 16 is held in common to other hydraulic equipment.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flywheel device which can be mounted on a mover. SOLUTION: The interior of a casing 2 is partitioned into a depressurizing chamber 11 and an oil chamber 12, and the insides of both chambers are depressurized and kept at around 0.2 atmospheric pressure. Within the depressurizing chamber 11, a rotor 18 is supported rotatably with bearing unit 25 and 30. An oil pump 14 for supplying the bearing units 25 and 30 with oil is provided within the oil chamber 12. An oil shade 44 is provided above the rotor 18, and an upper discharge passage 45 to lead the oil discharged from the bearing unit 25 and 30 is made between the oil shade 44 and the casing 2. A flinger ring 46 is provided in the section of the rotor 18 opposed to the above discharge path 45, and the peripheral end of the flinger ring 45 is positioned within the upper discharge path 45. The oil discharged from the bearing unit 25 is led into the upper discharge path 45, being flung off by the flinger ring 46, and it is returned into the oil chamber 12, being carried along the inside periphery of the casing 2 from the upper discharge path 45.
