    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holder, having high responsiveness in supplying a generated waterdrop with an oil film to a work and supplying an enough amount of waterdrops with an oil film to the work.
      SOLUTION: This tool holder 1 is incorporated with a watedrop with an oil film generating part 27 composed of: an oil atomizing chamber for atomizing oil by an air current; a chamber for making water into waterdrops to generate waterdrops with an oil film where an oil film is formed on the surface of the waterdrop; a top nozzle 29 for releasing waterdrops with an oil film. The top nozzle 29 is provided adjacent to the rear end part of a tool 7 on a rotating shaft of the tool holder 1, and the waterdrops with an oil film released from the top nozzle 29 are supplied to the work through a supply passage 8 formed through the rotating shaft of the tool 7, so that in supplying waterdrops with an oil film to the work, the responsiveness is heightened, and an enough amount of waterdrops with an oil film is discharged to the work.

      SOLUTION: This device for generating and mixing oil-filmed water drops includes: an oil atomizing chamber for atomizing oil supplied from an oil suction port facing to an oil spray nozzle 9; and a water drop generating chamber for making water supplied from a water suction port facing to a water spray nozzle 12 into water drops to form generate water drops with an oil film in which an oil film is formed on the surface of the water drop, wherein the oil discharged from an oil discharge port 75a of the oil spray nozzle 9 is atomized by an air current of compressed air passing through an air passing hole 76a in the oil atomizing chamber, water discharged from a water discharge port 75b of the water spray nozzle 12 is made into water drops by an air current of oil-contained compressed air passing through an oil-contained air passing hole 76b in the water drop generating chamber, whereby even if the pressure of air becomes higher, the oil and water are stably supplied without any increase in pressure of an oil pump and a water pump, so that in generating water drops with an oil film, the responsiveness is high.

Therefore, even when the oil particles of slight amount is jet, a jetting distance of the oil can be controlled.
