Both the bearing units 40 and 50 have slide bearings 43 and 53 bearing the shaft 72 of the rotor 70 and roller bearings 42 and 52 bearing the slide bearings 43 and 53. Moreover, the tips of the shaft 72 are provided with direct drive pumps 45 and 55 which are directly driven by the shaft thereby circulating oil 26.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flywheel power storage device capable of safely making an emergency stop of the flywheel rotating at high speed. SOLUTION: In the flywheel power storage device, a rotation shaft 14 of a flywheel 13 is supported by a bearing provided in a casing 11. By rotating the flywheel 13 at high speed in the casing 11, electrical energy is converted into kinetic energy to be stored. When required, the kinetic energy is reconverted into electrical energy to be taken out. The flywheel power storage device is provided with a vibration detection means 15 for detecting vibrations of the casing, a temperature detecting means 16 for detecting temperature of the bearing, and a container 19 in which a braking material 18 connected with the casing 11 through the medium of the valve body 17 is filled. When either of the vibration detecting means 15 or the temperature detection means 16 emits a signal indicating excess of the prescribed value, the valve element 17 is opened to lead the braking material 18 in the casing 11, therefore safely making an emergency stop.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover oil mist generated in a flywheel device to make the same re-usable. SOLUTION: A reduced pressure vessel 11 storing a mist filter 10 is provided between a flywheel device 1 including a rotating body 2, bearings 3, 4 and an oil feeding pump 5 and a check valve 8 and the reduced pressure vessel 11 and a reduced pressure oil tank 6 are connected through the check valve 8 in a reduced pressure vessel 7. When pressure in the reduced pressure vessel 11 is reduced by a pressure reducing pump 9, air in the reduced pressure vessel 7 is discharged in the reduced pressure vessel 11 through the mist filter 10, and oil mist is caught by the mist filter 10 and is liquefied and drops, and oil is reserved in the reduced pressure vessel 11. Since oil level B thereof is set at a higher position than oil level A in the reduced pressure vessel 4, oil in the reduced pressure vessel 11 flow through the check valve 12 and is recovered in the reduced pressure oil tank 6. Consequently, oil does not get less to require no repleshment and environment is not polluted since oil is not discharged to the outside.

Pump units 13a, b supplying oil to the flywheel bearing units 4, 5 are provided in a flywheel storage battery device 1. As the shaft 9 of the flywheel 6 is supported by the durable sliding bearing, the flywheel 6 can be stably supported for a long time even when a heavy load flywheel 6 is always rotated in a high speed. As the thrust sliding bearing 28, 36 and the journal sliding bearings 27, 35 are inexpensive, the manufacturing cost for the flywheel storage battery device 1 can be reduced.

The waterdrop is not scattered too much in the air as compared with a case of being atomized by turning only oil into a mist shape, and since the waterdrop with the oil film sticks to the work surface of a workpiece, a sufficient lubricating and cooling effect is performed by an extremely small supply quantity, and the splash of the coolant can be restrained so that a superior environment can be provided.
