摘要： A user equipment (UE) may identify a bearer (e.g., a default bearer) and request establishment of a second bearer (e.g., a high priority bearer) for use in streaming downlink data from, for example, an application server. The UE may determine a status of a playout buffer and select the first bearer or the second bearer for use in streaming the downlink data associated with the application based on the status of the playout buffer. For example, the first bearer may be used be used by default, and the second bearer may be selected if the amount of data in the playout buffer does not satisfy (e.g., is below) a threshold. In some cases, each bearer may be associated with a transmission control protocol (TCP) port associated with a TCP connection. In some cases, each bearer may be associated with different Internet protocol (IP) address.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described for wireless communication related to Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) signaling. A user equipment (UE) may receive multiple messages on multiple cells requesting an indication of MBMS services that the UE is interested in receiving. The UE may receive a first message on a primary cell (PCell) and a second message on a secondary cell (SCell) or a configurable SCell (C-SCell) at approximately the same time. In some cases, these messages may include a list of services offered by a network to the UE. The UE may then configure a response message to include information that may be used by the network to determine which cell and to which request message the response message is responsive. In some cases, the response message may include a cell identification, frequency identification, or an area identification associated with the corresponding request message.

In some aspects, a mobile device may receive, via a first cell, a radio resource control (RRC) connection reconfiguration message that includes configuration information for accessing a single cell multicast traffic channel (SC-MTCH), configured on a second cell, that delivers data for a single cell point-to-multipoint (SC-PTM) service that the mobile device is configured to receive at the first cell. The mobile device may perform a handover to the second cell. The method generally includes identifying at least one evolved Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (eMBMS) session available for receiving one or more eMBMS services from a base station. The method also includes taking one or more actions to reduce a conflict between receiving the one or more eMBMS services from the base station and receiving a paging message from the base station during the eMBMS session. A user equipment (UE) may adjust measurement periodicities for one or more radio access technologies (RATs) to maintain a balance between power efficiency and communications reliability. The UE may determine a periodicity for measuring a first RAT to add or remove connectivity for the first RAT alongside a second RAT. For example, the UE may adjust the measurement periodicity based on a data throughput demand level for the UE and a reference signal parameter level associated with the second RAT. Based on these conditions, the UE may adjust a first measurement periodicity for the first RAT. The UE may perform signal measurements for the first RAT according to the adjusted first measurement periodicity. Based on the signal measurements, the UE may determine to add or remove connectivity for the first RAT to operate in a single or dual connectivity mode.
