摘要： A control circuitry (134) and a method for controlling a bi-directional switch (132) is provided. The bi-directional switch (132) having a control terminal (130) for receiving a control voltage (124) to control an on state and an off state of the bi-directional switch (132) and at least one semiconductor switch in a bi-directional main current path. The control circuitry (134) comprises an energy storage element (102), a coupling means (101) to couple the energy storage element (102) to a supply voltage to charge the energy storage element (102), and a control circuit (108) configured to receive power from the energy storage element (102) and configured to supply the control voltage having a voltage level being independent of the supply voltage when the energy storage element (102) is not coupled to the supply voltage. The coupling means (101) is configured for only coupling the 132 energy storage element (102) to the supply voltage when the bi-directional switch (132) is in the off state.

摘要： A control circuitry and a method for controlling a bi-directional switch is provided. The bi-directional switch having a control terminal for receiving a control voltage to control an on state and an off state of the bi-directional switch and at least one semiconductor switch in a bi-directional main current path. The control circuitry comprises an energy storage element, a coupling means to couple the energy storage element to a supply voltage to charge the energy storage element, and a control circuit configured to receive power from the energy storage element and configured to supply the control voltage having a voltage level being independent of the supply voltage when the energy storage element is not coupled to the supply voltage. The coupling means is configured for only coupling the energy storage element to the supply voltage when the bi-directional switch is in the off state.

摘要： An electronic circuit comprising an amplifier includes an output terminal (OUT) for supplying an output signal (Vout) to a load, the amplifier comprising an output transistor (N2, P1) having a first main terminal coupled to a supply voltage terminal (VSS, VDD) of the amplifier, a second main terminal coupled to the output terminal (OUT), and a control terminal. In order to avoid that the output transistor (N2, P1) can enter its linear state which would cause the amplifier to act unacceptably slow for some purposes, the electronic circuit further comprises a controller adapted to prevent the output transistor (N2, P1) to enter its linear state whereby the controller is arranged for reducing a control voltage (Vcntrl) between the control terminal and the first main terminal when an output voltage (Vout) between the second main terminal and the first main terminal is below a defined level.

A switching circuit (SC) is arranged between the power supply outputs (PSOI, PSQ2) and the power supply input (PI) to supply a selected one of the first power supply voltage (PV1) or the second power supply voltage (PV2) to the power amplifier (PA). A controller (CO) supplies a control signal to the switching circuit (SC) in response to a first power change command (PC) indicating a first desired level of the output power (Po), to supply the first power supply voltage (PV1) to the power supply input (PI). The controller (CO) supplies the control signal to the switching circuit (SC) in response to a second power change command (PC) indicating a second desired level of t:1e output power (Po) and succeeding the first power change command (PC), to supply either the first power supply voltage (PV1) or the second power supply voltage (PV2) to the amplifier power supply input (PI) depending on values of said first desired level and said second desired level. The controller (CO) controls the power supply (PS) to vary a level of at least one of the power supply voltages (PV, PV2) to always have available one of the power supply voltages with a level suitable for increasing the output power (P0) substantially instantaneously.
