摘要： A narrow profile surgical ligation clip has two legs with clamping surfaces joined by a hinge near the proximal ends, allowing the clip to reversibly open and close. A locking mechanism is proximal to the hinge to bias or lock the clip closed, including first and second jaw structures spaced on opposite sides of a longitudinal axis of the clip thereby defining a locking space therebetween. In one embodiment, a wedge or buttress body moves by application of an external force applied to a proximal end of the clip towards the hinge to move into the locking space such that one or more outer surfaces or projections of portions of the body fit into or abut against complementary surfaces or other parts of the locking mechanism or clip assembly to bias or lock the clip in a closed position and provide additional closing force to the inner clamping surfaces.

摘要： An applier for ligation clip is provided. The applier includes: an outer tube having mounting bosses; a pair of jaws pivotally connected to the mounting bosses, the jaws having actuating projections; a feed tube located in the outer tube and configured to move axially within the outer tube, the feed tube having actuating slots in which the actuating projections are located; a clip lock arm located in the outer tube and configured to move axially within the outer tube; and a clip advance arm located in the outer tube and configured to move axially within the outer tube, the clip advance arm having flexible pinchers at one end of the clip advance arm. A method of applying a ligation clip is also disclosed.

摘要： Techniques for providing feed-based case management on an online social network. A user interface that includes a publisher and an information feed is provided. Information associated with a record is received and the record is updated in a database system. A feed item associated with the database system update is generated and provided in the information feed. The feed item includes one or more actionable selections providing a reference to the publisher. Selection of one of the one or more actionable selections causes the publisher to be operable to receive further information associated with the record. The record is capable of being updated based on the further information. In some implementations, the record is a case and the user interface serves as a single interface for all interactions required in solving the case.

摘要： Electrically heated pumps are disclosed that include electric heating elements that are linked to a process controller. The disclosed pump designs can be applied to packed seal, lip seal, mechanical seal and magnetic drive pumps. For packed, lip and mechanical seal pumps, the external jacketing on the pump, including the head, casing, pressure relief valve and bracket, can be replaced with electric heating elements, such as flexible or custom form membranes, attached to the pump through the use of adhesive or mechanical fastening devices. For the magnetic drive pump, the external jacketing on the pump head, pressure relief valve and casing can be replaced with electric heating elements attached to the pump through the use of adhesive or mechanical fastening devices. For the bracket portion of the magnetic drive pump, the external jacketing can be removed and the heating element is attached to the canister that contains the liquid and that is located between the inner and outer magnetic drive assemblies. Through the use of appropriately placed thermocouples in the head, pressure relief valve, casing, bracket, canister, etc., and a single or multi-channel on/off, proportional or PID controller, the heating zones may be linked together, monitored and controlled to the application requirements. The disclosed pump designs may also be applied to auxiliary equipment such as strainers.

In particular, a pressurized system is used such that a pressurized solvent is circulated to remove the contaminants from the sorbent materials. The RF radiation is directed into the vessel to vaporize residual solvents associated with the sorbent materials. Solvent is separated from the removed contaminants for reuse. RF radiation can be used to complete the removal of volatile compounds from the reclaimed oil/contaminants.
