摘要： Embodiments disclosed herein relate to providing dynamic assignment of home agent and home address in wireless communications, such that a mobile node away from home may receive local access services from a visited network. In an embodiment, a mobile node accesses a visited network. The visited network authenticates the mobile node with its home network. The visited network then assigns a visited home agent and a home address for the mobile node. The mobile node subsequently performs secure binding with the visitor home agent. The mobile node proceeds with communications using the visitor home agent and home address.

Techniques that reduce the number of operating states in both the compressor and the decompressor are described. Techniques to classify flows so that a reduced number of contexts are used to compress/decompress session packet headers in a push-to-talk service are described.

摘要： A communication session between a node seeking network access and a NAS (Network Access Server) is established by having only few exchanges of messages. Upon detecting a physical link between the node and the NAS, the NAS immediately sends an authentication request message to the node. In response, the node sends a request message which includes all parameters options, in addition to responding to the authentication request message, for link configuration and network access control. The NAS then picks and chooses the parameter options and sends back the selected options in a reply message to the node. If the selected options in the reply message meet a threshold, the node straightforwardly transmits user data for network access via the NAS.

The access control device includes a receiver configured to receive, from the wireless device, a first identifier. The first identifier has an identifier type. The access control device further includes a processor configured to select a database, from a first database and a second database, based on the identifier type. The processor is further configured to determine whether the first identifier is in the selected database. The processor is further configured to restrict access of the wireless device to the wireless network based on whether the first identifier is in the selected database.
