The electrolyzing device unit is constituted thereof by using an anode frame 6 and a gasket 7. The plural units are connected at need to constitute the electrolyzing device. This unit is useful for a cosmic life maintaining device, etc.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for surely, efficiently and continuously reducing nitrous oxide into nitrogen. SOLUTION: In the reducing method of nitrous oxide, a reaction chamber, which is in contact with an electrolytic cell 1 having an anode and a cathode 6 composed of a hydrogen occlusion material and uses the cathode as a partition wall is arranged, nitrous oxide in the reaction chamber is introduced to be brought into contact with the partition wall surface and continuous reduction is performed by hydrogen atom passed through the partition wall. Carrying platinum group metal black on the surface of the cathode opposed to the anode is preferable. The electrolytic cell for reducing nitrous oxide contains the anode and the cathode composed of the hydrogen occlusion material and serving as the partition wall and contains an electrolytic chamber 3 separated by the cathode and containing the anode and the reducing reaction chamber 4, in which nitrous oxide is supplied and reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To treat water to be treated without generating pollution of an electrolytic cell or electrolitic liquid and unstabilized electrolitic condition and the like by spraying ozone containing gas generated in an anode chamber of the electrolytic cell from electrolytic liquid and then bringing the same into contact with the water to be treated. CONSTITUTION:Ozone containing gas generated in an anode chamber 5 of an electrolytic cell 1 is fed from downward into an air diffusion filter 8 of a dissolving column 9 through a duct 7. On the other hand, a part of water to be treated is branched by branched water 10 and fed into the dissolving column 9 from upward, and ozone containing gas is dissolved in the dissolving column 9. Ozone containing gas branced treating water is fed into a reaction tank 13 together with the water to be branched which is not branched by a pump 12, and the whole treating water is ozone treated. Electrolytic liquid and water to be treated are not in contact with directly in said process to keep away pollution of electrolytic liquid and electrolytic process or unstabilized electrolytic condition or the like.

Thus, the sterilizing power is enhanced and also the vicinity of a cathode 6 surface is kept in acidity from neutrality with acidity of the coexisting oxidation product and a deposition of metal hydrate is restrained.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently decompose a substance to be processed into a low molecular weight compound in an electrochemical manner by using a diamond as an anode substance and a cathode substance. SOLUTION: An anode 2 and a cathode 3, on a surface of which is covered by powder diamond, are installed separate from each other inside a box-like electrolytic cell 1. A tip part of a reference electrode 4 such as an electrode formed of mercury (II) sulfate is located between both electrodes to detect the electric potential. An aqueous solution 8 containing a substance to be processed in a raw liquid tank 7 is supplied to an electrolytic cell 1 by a pump 9 through a water feed pipe 5. The substance to be processed in the solution is brought into contact with the anode 2 and the cathode 3, and decomposed directly and/or indirectly through an oxidizing substance or a reducing substance which is to be generated through electrolysis of water, and circulated into the raw liquid tank 7 from an upper part of the electrolytic cell 1 through a circulation pipe 6. In the case of a solution or a gas small in electrical conductivity, the anode 2 and the cathode 3 are closely attached to both sides of a fluorine resin ion exchange membrane functioning as the electrolyte to proceed the electrolysis. A diamond layer is vapor-deposited on a base body to the thickness of 1-10 μm.
