摘要： PURPOSE:To decompose ozone by spraying ozone-containing water into air or spraying ozone-containing water into air to irradiate the same with ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION:When water containing ozone such as residual ozone is sprayed into air, residual ozone comes into contact with air in a wide surface area to be accelerated in its decomposition and is almost instantaneously decomposed. As a method for spraying ozone-containing water into air, there is a method wherein the flow of ozone-containing water is allowed to impinge against a plate like body to be dispersed into air or said ozone-containing water is sucked to be dispersed into air other than a spray method using a usual sprayer or nozzle. Further, when ozone-containing water is irradiated with ultraviolet rays simultaneously with the spraying thereof into air, residual ozone can be decomposed more efficiently.

摘要： PURPOSE:To nearly halve the number of a pole chambers in comparison with a conventional electrolytic cell by using a structural electrode body equipped with a pair of same kind of electrode bodies having large distance between electrodes as a central structural electrode body and utilizing city water, etc., large in liquid resistance as an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A pair of right and left pole chambers are constituted of the electrolytic chambers 7 which are provided to the side walls 2 of an electrolytic cell 1 and have electrode bodies 4 only on the single side. A pole chamber constituted of at least one electrode chamber 7' which has a pair of same polar electrode bodies 4 on both sides is laminated between the above-mentioned right and left pole chambers via the diaphragms 8 so as to position the different kind of electrode bodies 4 on both sides of the diaphragms 8. The distance between a pair of same polar electrode bodies 4 is made sufficiently large so that electrolysis is not substantially caused while keeping both electrode bodies 4 as an anode and a cathode. Furthermore these electrode bodies 4 are connected with the electrode bodies 4 of the side wherein the different kind of electrode bodies 4 adjacent via the diaphragms 8 are not opposed thereto. In other words, the structure is simple as the electrolytic cell for electrolyzing an electrolyte large in liquid resistance and the number of the pole chambers is nearly halved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently decompose O3 by connecting the anode chamber of an electrolytic cell for electrolyzing water to a waste gas decomposition part packed with a waste gas decomposition catalyst through an O3 treatment part and by also connecting the cathode chamber to the waste gas decomposition part. CONSTITUTION:When water is electrolyzed in an electrolytic cell 4 divided into anode and cathode chambers 2, 3 with a partition wall 1, O3-O2 mixed gas is generated in the anode chamber 2 and H2 in the cathode chamber 3. The mixed gas is introduced into an O3 treatment part 6 and used to treat a medium to be treated such as tap water with O3 and the waste gas having a lowered concn. of O3 is sent to a waste gas treatment part 8. The H2 in the cathode chamber 3 is also sent to the part 8 and converted into steam by burning with an H2 decomposition catalyst 10. By heat generated during the burning, O3 adjacent to the H2 with a partition wall 11 in-between is decomposed to produce O2.
