    • The disclosed doffing apparatus is for use in a spinning machine including a mechanism for winding a yarn in the form of a cheese or package, a device for cutting the yarn fed to the winding mechanism when the cheese becomes full and an air suction device for sucking the cut yarn which is continuously fed even after cutting. This doffing apparatus comprises an operation member which is movably positioned in the vicinity of the air suction device and cutting device so that the operation member is operatively interconnected to the air suction device and cutting device, and opening of the air suction device and operation of the cutting device are performed by the movement of the operation member. In this doffing apparatus, release of a full cheese from the winding mechanism also can be performed by this operation member.

    • A yarn winding mechanism includes a reference point through which the yarn always passes during yarn piecing-up and normal winding operations, a pair of yarn taking-out rollers disposed above the reference point, and a traversing device from which the yarn is wound onto a cone cheese. In order to cause the winding mechanism to soon begin and then continue the normal winding operation after completion of the yarn piecing-up, a device for compensating changes in yarn tension is disposed between the traversing device and the yarn taking-out rollers with a yarn guide surface extending generally parallel to the axis of the taking-out roller, and the upper taking-out roller is formed with a yarn catch in one end face edge thereof on the larger diameter side of the cone cheese, the yarn catch being arranged in an optimum position with respect to the parallelly extending surface of the tension compensating device and the reference point.

    • A device for shedding warp yarns in a weaving loom, such as a jet loom, comprises: cranks supported on machine frames of the loom rotatable in synchronization with the weaving operation of the loom; synchronizing levers swingably pivoted; connecting rods connecting the cranks with synchronizing levers so that the rotational movement of the cranks is transmitted as a swinging motion of the synchronizing levers; synchronizing links linked with the synchronizing levers; rocking levers linked with the synchronizing links so that the rotational movement of the cranks is transmitted as a swinging motion of the rocking levers through the swinging motion of the synchronizing levers; and heddle frames, for the upper and lower warp yarns, operated by the rocking levers. The synchronizing levers and synchronizing links are so arranged that, when the connecting rods are located at their dead points which correspond to the uppermost or lowermost position of the heddle frame, one of linking pivots linking synchronizing levers with the synchronizing links is near a line formed by the synchronizing levers and links when they are at their dead points. As a result, the time period wherein the warp yarns serve as upper warp yarns is made different from the time period wherein the warp yarns serve as lower warp yarns, and a difference in tension is created in the upper and lower warp yarns when the beating operation is effected.

    • A system for transporting cheeses produced by one spinning machinery into a container located in a predetermined position near the end of the spinning machinery is disclosed. The system comprises a first conveyer extending along the major length of the spinning machinery to receive the doffed cheeses thereon directly from the spinning machinery, and a second conveyor extending between the end of the first conveyer and the container to receive and transport the cheeses from the first conveyer to the container. The second conveyer is driven at a higher speed than the first conveyer to allow the cheeses to be automatically contained in the container which has an inner diameter slightly larger than an outer diameter of the cheese in a manner which allows the bobbins of the cheeses to be stacked in end-to-end relationship.

    • A textile machine made by assembling a plurality of unit textile machines.
