      SOLUTION: An installation for repelling the animal is structured so that an electromagnetic valve 4 is mounted on a gas supply pipe 3 for a pressurized gas, containers 5 of a repellent for spraying a smell due to an inflow of the pressurized gas are arranged on a downstream side of the electromagnetic valve 4, and sensors 7 for detecting approach of the animal are connected to the electromagnetic valve 4. Thus, the installation effectively repels the animal, by diffusing the smell.

      SOLUTION: A joining member A (1) is inserted in the feed water hole of the bath boiler. Air is fed by a blower through a communicating hose (8), large air bubbles are generated in the bath boiler and by utilizing its active force, scale, dust, and hairs, etc., are removed.
