    • An image display device has a serial port as data input and output port for the system, and input and output data converting element for mutually converting the data format of input and output data for wireless communication. A data processing device has input and output processing virtual element for processing data input and output virtually as if the data input and output port are connected directly. The input data of the serial port is converted by the input and output converting element, and is transmitted to the data processing device through a wireless unit, and is processed through the input and output processing virtual element. The output data of the data processing device is transmitted to the image display device in the wireless unit by way of the input and output processing virtual element, and is converted by the input and output data converting element, and is issued to the serial port. At this time, depending on whether the serial port is being used or not, the control level of power saving operation is changed. In this configuration, the input and output peripheral device can be used at the display side, and power saving control in harmony between display function and input and output peripheral device function is realized.

    • An input device is provided which is capable of entering a double tap operation even if an operation through a touch panel is performed in difficulty. The input device includes a coordinate acquiring section, a pressure acquiring section, a coordinate condition storing section, an on-pressure storing section for storing a first pressure and a second pressure smaller than the first pressure, a time condition storing section, and an input judging section. In operation, the pressure of the first pen touch operation detected by the pressure acquiring section exceeds a first pressure. Then, if the pressure of the second pen touch operation detected by the pressure acquiring section exceeds the second pressure within a certain time stored in the time condition storing section, and if the second pen touch operation is performed within a distance stored in the coordinate condition storing section, the input judging section qualifies the two consecutive pen touch operations as a double tap operation. As the threshold of the pressure of the second pen touch operation is smaller than an ordinary pressure, the double tap operation can correctly be identified even if the pressure of the second pen touch operation by any user becomes small.

    • A controller is formed as one chip, and controls a voltage regulator that supplies a power supply voltage to a CPU. The controller includes: an input unit for receiving a monitor voltage for monitoring the power supply voltage applied to the CPU; a control unit for detecting that the power supply voltage is decreased to a target voltage by the monitor voltage with the voltage regulator being in OFF state in a discharge mode; and an output unit for outputting a result signal indicating to make transition to a normal mode, when the power supply voltage has reached the target voltage. The control unit includes a calculation circuit, which is operated in accordance with a program. The calculation circuit is provided between the input unit and the output unit.
