    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for repairing the surface of a pavement usable at ambient temperatures, easily installable even manually, having no large restriction in selecting aggregate, and also easily formed in a very thin layer of approximately 2-3 mm.
      SOLUTION: This material for repairing the surface of a pavement as an ambient temperature-setting slurry is laid and adhered onto the surface of a base asphalt concrete or a base cement concrete, and forms a repaired layer by curing. The material is obtained by mixing a special reformed asphalt emulsion formed mainly of a thermosetting resin and an asphalt emulsion, an admixture formed mainly of a cement, and at least one of an aggregate, a filler, and water. The material forms the ambient temperature-setting slurry by mixing the admixture formed mainly of the special reformed asphalt emulsion and the cement at ambient temperatures. The slurry is laid and adhered onto the surface of the base asphalt concrete or the base cement concrete, and hardened at ambient temperatures to form the repaired layer.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a block pavement, which allows the limit bending strain of paving mortar after solidification to be increased and the adhesive strength between the paving mortar and a pavement block to be improved.SOLUTION: A block pavement is composed of a plurality of pavement blocks 11 arranged on a base layer 13 through paving mortar 12. The paving mortar 12 is blended with a thermoplastic material. A metal material 14 is laid in the paving mortar 12. A construction method of the block pavement includes the step of softening the thermoplastic material by heating the metal material 14 with electromagnetic induction from above the pavement blocks 11 after arrangement of the pavement blocks 11 on the paving mortar 12. The method further includes the step of allowing a joint part 16 between the arranged pavement blocks 11 to be filled with joint mortar 17 blended with a thermoplastic material.
