    • The present invention relates to a lighting device, comprising at least one first LED lighting assembly (2) and at least one second LED lighting assembly (3), the light output ratios of the first LED lighting assembly (2) and the second LED lighting assembly (3) being related to a color temperature of a mixed light of the two, wherein the lighting device further comprises a controlling unit (4) and an environ- mental temperature sensor (5), and wherein the controlling unit (4) receives an environmental temperature detected by the environmental temperature sensor (5) and outputs a controlling signal according to the environmental temperature to control the light output ratios of the first and second LED lighting assemblies (2, 3), thereby automatically adjusting the color temperature of the mixed light. The lighting device according to the present invention can automatically adjust the color temperature of the emitted light according to the change of the environmental temperature; moreover, the light emitted from such lighting device has the advantages of good color rendering index and high light efficacy. In addition, the present invention further relates to a method of automatically adjusting a color temperature of light emitted from the lighting device of such type.
