    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus provided with a means with which man-hours of positioning can be decreased and highly accurate positioning can be carried out.
      SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is principally characterized in that it includes: a support mechanism 20 for supporting an optical system 10 for forming an image; at least one of positioning projections 21, 22 being parts of the support mechanism 20 and projected in parallel with an optical axis AX of the optical system 10; a transparent board 30 with holes 31, 32 through which the projections 21, 22 are penetrated, and mounted on a face of the support mechanism 20 orthogonal to the optical axis AX by penetrating the projections 21, 22 through the holes 31, 32; an imaging element mount electrode 40 formed on the front face of the board 30; and an imaging element chip 50 the peripheral part of which is caused to abut on side faces of the projections 21, 22 projected to the front face side of the transparent board 30 through the holes 31, 32 to match a prescribed position of a light receiving face 50a with the optical axis AX of the optical system 10 thereby being mounted onto the electrode 40 (41, 42...).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus provided with a means for easily and properly carrying out positioning of a light receiving face of an imaging element in three-dimensional directions with respect to an optical axis of an optical system within a plane orthogonal to the optical axis of the optical system.
      SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is principally characterized in that it includes: an optical system 10 (including a lens 12 etc.) for forming an image; a support mechanism 20 for supporting the optical system 10; a base support part 100 including a plurality of positioning parts 110, 120, 130 provided along a face orthogonal to the optical axis AX of the optical system 10 of the support mechanism 20; a transparent board 30 which is positioned by causing its different faces abut on the plurality of positioning parts 110, 120, 130 of the base support part 100 respective; and an imaging element chip 50 mounted in advance on an imaging element mount purpose electrode 42 formed on the surface of the transparent board 30 to convert the image formed by the optical system 10 into an electric signal.
