摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the release of a coating agent from a film at the time of the exposure to hot water by preliminarily immersing an alkali silicate inorg. cured film in water and subsequently applying the coating agent to the cured film. CONSTITUTION:Coating material prepared by adding ultrafine particulate silica and water to an aqueous alkali silicate solution and coating material prepared by further adding a colorant and a filler to said coating material are applied to a base material and heated to form an inorg. cured film. This alkali silicate inorg. cured film is immersed in water at 20 deg.C or more, pref., at 60 deg.C or more and subsequently dried. Next, a coating agent such as an org. coating agent or an org./inorg. composite coating agent is applied to this cured film. As a result, the close adhesiveness between the cured film and the coating agent is improved.

Li, Ti, Zn, Ca, Mg, etc., In this case, the chemically treated surfaces of the metal parts are heated at 150-400 deg.C close to the calcining temp. of the coating agent before the coating. The corrosion of the metal to be treated such as Al or Zn by the coating agent of a high pH is prevented and coating with superior adhesion and no bubbles is enabled.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the humidity resistance of a cured film and to prevent the chalking of the film by immersing the cured film formed from inorg. coating material prepared by adding ultrafine particulate silica to an aqueous alkali silicate solution in water at predetermined temp. CONSTITUTION:Coating material is prepared by adding ultrafine particulate silica and water as well as a colorant, a filler and a curing agent to an aqueous alkali silicate solution to be applied to base cloth and heated to form the cured film of the alkali silicate inorg. coating material. Subsequently, this cured film is immersed in water and pref. vibrated by bubbling or an ultrafine wave. The water temp. at the time of aforementioned water treatment is usually 20 deg.C or more and pref. 50-100 deg.C. As a result, the humidity resistance of the alkali silicate inorg. coating cured film is markedly enhanced and the chalking and release of the cured film can be prevented even at the time of use in a high humidity place.

Preferably the solution also contains 0.1 to 1.0 g/L of H2O2, NO2-1 ions, or a mixture thereof to reoxidize ferrous ions formed by reduction of ferric ions during use of the solution and thus maintain the concentration of ferric ions above 20 ppm at all times. The solution may also contain surfactant and up to 10 g/L of dissolved aluminum ions.

摘要： 27587-40 The present invention relates to an aqueous solution for depositing a coating consisting predominantly of tin phosphate on an active metal surface in contact with said solution, comprising: (a) from about 1 to about 50 grams per liter of orthophosphate ions; (b) from about 0.2 to about 20 grams per liter of chlorate and bromate ions combined; (c) a pH of about 2 to about 6; (d) a total concentration of simple and chelated tin cations, measured stoichiometrically as tin only, of from about 0.01 to about 5.0 grams per liter; and (e) a concentration of condensed total phosphoric acid and ions derived therefrom, measured stoichiometrically as maximally neutralized ions, of from about 0.01 to about 5 grams per liter, said condensed phosphoric acid having the general formula H(n+2)PnO(3n+1), wherein n = 2, 3, or 4, said concentration of condensed total phosphoric acid and anions derived therefrom being effective to stabilize the soluble tin content of said solution against spontaneous diminution during storage out of contact with reactive surfaces for a period of one day. A coating that confers excellent resistance to corrosion in hot water is thus formed on drawn and ironed thinly tin plated cans.
