    • A golf club shaft comprising a laminate of a plurality of fiber reinforced resinous layers formed of one pair of angle layers consisting of a first angle layer and a second angle layer or a plurality of pairs of angle layers consisting of the first and second angle layers such that a fiber of the first angle layer and that of the second angle layer incline in opposite directions at an angle 20°-35° with respect to an axis of the golf club shaft.     • At least one layer of inclined prepregs having reinforcing fiber oriented an angles not 0° and 90° with respect to the axis of a golf club shaft is wound by unintegral turns more than zero at at least one part of the golf club shaft in an axial direction thereof. A part of the prepreg(s) corresponding to partial turns obtained by subtracting integral turns form the unintegral turns forms an anisotropic region. In this manner, it is possible to obtain an anisotropic shaft in which the angle of the reinforce fiber is partly different from that of other parts in the circumferential direction of the shaft and further, at at east one part in the thickness direction thereof.

    • The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an FRP tubular body. The manufacturing method includes the steps of winding a fiber reinforced resin member containing a fiber and a matrix resin around a mandrel, thereby obtaining an intermediate formed body, winding a wrapping tape around an outer peripheral surface of the intermediate formed body (6) with an application of a tension, curing the matrix resin in the intermediate formed body having the wrapping tape wound therearound, and pulling the mandrel out and removing the wrapping tape after the curing step, thereby obtaining a cured tubular body. It is preferable that a fabric tape should be used as the wrapping tape. It is preferable that a tensile stress to be applied to the fabric tape (8) should be set to be equal to or higher than 5 (Mpa) and is equal to or smaller than 150 (Mpa) at the tape winding step. In the manufacturing method, the matrix resin can be effectively extracted at a subsequent step to the winding step.
