    • An anchor bolt consisting of a shank screwed into a bore in a structural body made of concrete etc. having a screw thread with notches, and a root of thread between the screw thread. The entering flank and the trailing flank of the screw thread are defined by respective angles of inclination .alpha. and .beta. formed therefrom to the axis of the shank, the angle .beta. being smaller than the angle .alpha.. The root of screw is constituted by a carrying portion formed immediately after the trailing flank toward the unscrewing direction, and a tapered surface formed from the carrying portion to the root portion of the entering flank of the following screw thread, gradually increasing in diameter theretoward.

    • An object of the present invention is to provide an active matrix type liquid crystal display apparatus, capable of being upsized and having enhanced resolution at low cost without being degraded in display quality. In the liquid crystal display apparatus, on a pixel substrate, scanning lines and reference signal lines are formed in a row direction, and on a counter substrate, gradation signal lines are formed in a column direction. A liquid crystal layer is sandwiched between the pixel substrate and the counter substrate. Outside an image display region, a reference signal transfer pad is disposed on the counter substrate opposite to a main reference signal line for connecting end portions of reference signal lines. The reference signal transfer pad and the main reference signal line are electrically connected by conductive material.

    • Disclosed is an apparatus for holding an electronic part including a rod coupled to a part-absorbing nozzle at one end thereof and coupled to a vacuum device at the other end portion thereof, the rod being axially movable. Also included is a sleeve member movable along the axis of the rod in response to the movement thereof. A pair of chucking jaws for chucking the electronic part are coupled through a transmission mechanism to the sleeve member. The transmission mechanism comprises a pair of curved levers each providing a connection between the chucking jaws and the sleeve member and a pair of guide members which are respectively engaged with the pair of chucking jaws and radially extend at right angles to the axis of the rod, and is arranged to allow the pair of chucking jaws to be moved at right angles to the axis of the rod member in opposite directions to each other in response to the movement of the sleeve member. The arrangement to move the chucking jaws at right angles with respect to the axis of the rod enables the electronic part to be accurately chucked by the chucking jaws irrespective of the variations of the size and configuration of the electronic part.
