    • In an image processing computer system for a photogrammetric measurement in which a survey map is produced based on plural pictures under a three-dimensional coordinate system, a picture-arranging system rearranges the pictures to select plural pairs of pictures from among the pictures such that each pair of pictures is fixed to produce a survey map section, and a picture-connecting system successively connects the plural pair pictures to each other. A monitor displays a scene including first and second display areas. The pairs of pictures are selectively displayed on the first display area, and a pair of object points corresponding to each other on two pictures in each pair are indicated. The coordinates of an object point represented by the pair of indicated object points are calculated, and the calculated coordinates on a plane defined by the coordinate system. The projected coordinates is displayed as a point representing said object point concerned on the second display area.

    • A photogrammetric image processing apparatus and method defining a plurality of pairs of images including a common target as belonging to the same groups (pairs), providing an image display area and drawing area on the screen of the display device, calculating valid mapping ranges for the pairs 1 to 4, and displaying the valid mapping ranges on the drawing area. When an arbitrary point is designated using a cursor in the drawing area, paired images corresponding to one of the valid mapping ranges containing the designated point are displayed in the image display area. Physical points corresponding to the paired images are designated, so that the three-dimensional coordinates of physical points are calculated, and a survey map is generated based on the three-dimensional coordinates.

    • An optical member inspection apparatus includes an inspection optical system having a light source, and a diffusing means for diffusing the light emitted from the light source. The diffusing means has a central portion and a peripheral portion. The diffusion transmittance of the peripheral portion is higher than the diffusion transmittance of the central portion. The inspection optical system is also provided with an image pick-up means to pick-up an image of the optical member to be inspected, and is positioned so as, to receive that light emitted from the light source and transmitted through the diffusing means and the optical member. A judging means is also provided, for judging whether or not the optical member has a defect, in accordance with image signals output from the image pick-up means.

A displayed picture is transferred from said picture-display area to said editing-display area and vice versa. Connection relationships between pictures are visually displayed on the editing-display area.

    • In image processing computer system for a photogrammetric analytical measurement in which a survey map is produced on the basis of plural pairs of pictures photographed at different positions, each picture features a photographed target. Plural frames of image data for producing the pictures are stored in a memory, and the frames of image data are read from the memory in a given order such that two consecutive frames of image data are handled as a pair of pictures. A monitor displays two pictures side by side, which are rearranged until two pictures displayed side by side form a proper pair for producing a survey map section. It is determined whether respective two pictures displayed side by side are defined as left-hand and right-hand pictures or right-hand and left-hand pictures with respect to the targets photographed thereon, whereby respective left-hand and right-hand pictures in each pair are displayed at left and right sides on the monitor.
