摘要： Fluorine-containing vitamin D.sub.3 analogues of the formula[I]: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently hydrogen atom, a chemically inactive hydroxy-protecting group, an acyl having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, or an alkyl having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, X is a straight carbon chain having 4 to 6 carbon atoms which contains at least one double or triple bond, which have excellent vitamin D.sub.3 -like activities, particularly anti-tumor activity owing to differentiation-inducing activity and are useful for the prophylaxis and treatment of various tumors, and intermediates therefor.

摘要： The invention provides an electrode as a positive electrode or a negative electrode of a secondary battery. The electrode has an active material layer containing active material particles. An electro-conductive material is filled between the active material particles over the entire thickness direction of the active material layer. The electro-conductive material is preferably a material having low capability of forming a lithium compound. Preferably, the electro-conductive material is filled in the active material layer by electroplating. The active particle material preferably comprises a material having high capability of forming a lithium compound, or a hydrogen storage alloy. The invention also provides a secondary battery which has the above electrode as a positive electrode or a negative electrode.

The cooling water is supplied to the pipes. The diameter of enveloping circle formed by these curved cooling pipes at a determined horizontal position is varied by relatively rotating the upper and lower support members of pipes. Thus, as the diameter of bubble passing portion of the apparatus can freely be varied, bubbles of variety of sizes can be produced by a single apparatus.
