    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of a regular two dimensional periodic structure section on a photosensitive high polymer film surface having a high degree of freedom in structure selectivity. SOLUTION: The forming method of the regular two dimensional periodic structure section on the surface of the photosensitive high polymer film includes first and second processes. In the first process, a surface relief grating structure section or a hanging bell shaped projecting structure section formed through the surface relief grating structure is produced on the surface of the high polymer film having a photosensitive function by interference exposing the high polymer film to pulse laser light beams having a wavelength region, that gives a photosensitive function to the high polymer film without going through a mask. In the second process, location of the high polymer film or the direction of the interference exposure of the pulse laser light beams is rotated along the orthogonal direction with respect to the first process and the high polymer film surface is interference exposed by the laser light beams similar to the first process without going through the mask to produce the regular two dimensional periodic structure section on the surface of the high polymer.
