    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a porous structure where cells (pores) of a nanometer order to a micrometer order are not deformed and which has, on its surface, an open recessed structure in which pore sizes are equal and pores are arranged regularly, and which has pores at multiple layers, and to provide the porous structure.
      SOLUTION: A polymer and a material non-compatible to the polymer are mixed to prepare a coating liquid, and the coating liquid is applied to a coating substrate to form a coating film. By adjusting the temperature of the polymer in the coating film, the polymer and the non-compatible material are turned into a melted and mixed state, and by adjusting the temperature of the coating film in the melted and mixed state, the coating film having a structure in which the polymer and the non-compatible material are separated from each other is formed. The non-compatible material in the coating film is extracted and removed to form empty pores to produce the porous structure.
