    • A paging communication system is configured so that a plurality of receivers are called by group in response to a paging signal transmitted from a base station. The base station is provided with first circuitry comprising a plurality of timers for counting the number of transmissions to each receiver, and second circuitry operative to transmit a first kind of data indicating that the information code assigned to each of the particular receivers is masked and a second kind of data for restarting the ordinary receiving process with respect to the masked information code. Each receiver is provided with a decoder circuit operative in response to the first kind of data to inhibit the ordinary receiving process with respect to the masked code and operative in response to the second kind of data to restart the ordinary receiving process. Thus, the communication system will inhibit the information supply only to receivers which are not current in their contract payments and restart the information supply after payment of the contract fee. Further, this system can determine the appropriate charges based upon the number of calls to each individual calling number as counted by the first circuitry provided in the base station.

    • PURPOSE:To control the information desired not to be known by an unpermitted receiver especially at a base station by adding a scramble circuit and its control section to the base station, and a descramble circuit to a receiver. CONSTITUTION:A signal transmitted from a telephone set 1 is converted into a code by a control section 3 through an exchange 2, modulated by a modulation section 4, and transmitted via a transmission section 5 and an antenna 6. The control section 3 applies scrambling to its code. The signal transmitted from the base station is demodulated by a demodulation section 9 via a reception section 8 from an antenna 7, one is inputted to a decoder 12 via a gate 11, and the other is inputted to the decoder 12 via the gate 11 from the descramble circuit 10. The descramble circuit 10 acts like restoring the scrambled code by the control section 3 of the base station. When a signal C is inputted to the decoder 12, it is compared with a call number stored in the ROM13 in advance and when they are coincident, a speaker 17 is energized and an information code succeeding to the call number is displayed on a display device 14.

    • PURPOSE:To inform a call signal when a call signal has a voltage receptible even under a low voltage display by providing a gate circuit to a decoder detecting the coincidence between an input signal and a stored number so as to use plural informing means. CONSTITUTION:A call signal received through an antenna 1 is demodulated by a demodulator section 2 and the demodulated output is fed to the decoder 4 via a waveform shaping section 3. The decoder 4 compares the waveform shaping signal with a specific number stored in a ROM5 and when they are coincident, a ring tone is generated in a speaker SP7 via an amplifier section 6, and a calling flickering is generated by a light emitting diode D8. When a power supply 9 has a voltage lower than the preset voltae, a low voltage alarm is generated in the SP7 and the D8 generates a continuous light for informing the low voltage. In this state, when the voltage is a voltage receptible of the call signal, althrough the SP7 generates the alarm for low voltage, the gate circuit provided to the decoder 4 allows the D8 to stop the lighting, and after the flickering at call signal reception is lighted for a prescribed time, the D8 restores to light the continuous lighting.
