    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing superconductive wire, the method manufacturing the superconducting wire of a small diameter with good working efficiency. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the superconductive wire includes: a wire manufacturing step of manufacturing a first wire with a diameter which can be roll-formed in a longitudinal direction of core material 10 by wrapping around a prescribed number of times a metallic film tape formed by rolling out a second metallic material on the core material 10 composed of the first metallic material and then applying annealing treatment; a cutting step of forming a plurality of second wires by cutting the first wire; a filling step of manufacturing a multiple billet 65 by filling the plurality of second wires into a billet 70 for multiple billets; an extruding step of manufacturing an extruded material by extruding the multiple billet 65; a drawing step of manufacturing a drawn material by draw-processing the extruded material; and a heat treatment step of manufacturing the superconducting wire by applying the heat treatment to the drawn material.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic shield for a superconductive magnet, capable of efficiently shielding a magnetic field of a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus; and the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: In the magnetic shield 10 for the superconductive magnet, the outer surface of a cylindrical metal base material is covered with a superconductor made of an A15 compound, and the metal base material with the superconductor made of the A15 compound formed by film formation on the cylindrical surface is disposed around a cooler 21 (including a cold head 22) from the first stage 8 to the second stage 9. The temperature of the position where the superconductor is disposed is 15K in a steady state; Cu is used for the metal base material, and an Nb3Al superconductor is used as the superconductor made of the A15 compound. The spraying method is applied to the film formation of the Nb3al superconductor. In the magnetic shield 10, a wire such as an Nb3Al wire whose diameter is 0.5 mm is used as the A15 compound, and the superconductor is formed by winding the wire 6 turns around the outer surface of the cylindrical metal base material.
