摘要： A synthetic resin shaped article having good antistatic properties, composed of a substrate, at least part of which is covered with a synthetic resin surface layer integrated with the substrate. This shaped article is prepared by polymerizing 100 wt. parts of a mixture comprising (A) more than 20 wt. % of a monomer of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is H or CH.sub.3, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are H or C.sub.1-9 alkyl, m is from 1 to 10, and X.sup.- is an anion, (B) less than 79.99 wt. % of a monomer having one unsaturated double bond and (C) 0.01-10 wt. % of a monomer having at least two unsaturated double bonds; subsequently adding (D) up to 190 wt. parts of a monomer having one unsaturated double bond and (E) up to 10 wt. parts of a monomer having at least two unsaturated double bonds to the formed polymer and polymerizing them to form a copolymer(a); forming a film of the copolymer(a) on the surface of a casting mold; supplying a starting material for a synthetic resin substrate into the casting mold; and polymerizing the starting material to transfer the film to the substrate surface from the molding surface.

摘要： A synthetic resin molded article having good antistatic properties is disclosed, which is composed of a body of a synthetic resin (B) having a surface layer which is predominantly comprised of an antistatic polymer (A) and is integral with the body (B). The antistatic polymer (A) mainly composed of units of a quaternary ammonium base monomer of the formula: ##STR1##wherein R.sub.1 is H or methyl, R.sub.2 through R.sub.4 are H, unsubstituted or substituted (C.sub.1-9) alkyl, m is 1-10 and X.sup.- is an anion of a quaternizing agent. The molded article is made by forming a film of the antistatic polymer (A) on the molding surface of a casting mold, casting a polymerizable material to be formed into the synthetic resin (B) as the base material in the casting mold, and polymerizing the polymerizable material to form a body of the synthetic resin (B), simultaneously rendering the film of the polymer (A) integral with the body of the base material.

The cast plate is obtained by polymerizing methyl methacrylate, a monomer mixture comprising at least 50 weight & of methyl methacrylate and up to 50 weight % of a copolymerizable monomer or a partial polymerization product thereof in the presence of the polymer (B).

摘要： Disclosed is a composite composition consisting essentially of a silica polycondensate (A) formed by hydrolysis and polycondensation of one or more alkoxysilane compounds, and a polymer (B) of a radical-polymerizable vinyl compound (B') composed chiefly of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, acrylic esters and methacrylic esters, the silica polycondensate (A) and the polymer (B) of the vinyl compound (B') being intermingled homogeneously. This composite composition is produced by dissolving the silica polycondensate (A) in the vinyl compound (B') and effecting radical polymerization of the vinyl compound (B'). This composite composition has high transparency, rigidity, toughness and thermal resistance and is hence useful in fields of application where inorganic glass has heretofore been used.
