摘要： The present application, pertaining to the field of slow neutron detection, relates to a slow neutron converter and a slow neutron detector. The slow neutron converter includes a substrate, the substrate including a plurality of holes extending along a first direction and insulating walls between the plurality of holes, wherein the plurality of holes are through holes. The slow neutron converter further includes a boron layer at least covering an exposed surface of the plurality of holes. The slow neutron converter and the slow neutron detector having the slow neutron converter according to the present disclosure are capable of maintaining a high slow neutron detection efficiency. In addition, the manufacturing complexity and manufacturing cost of the detector are reduced, and thus the effective, convenient and low-cost slow neutron detection is achieved.

Further, the present invention has characteristics such as a reduced or eliminated neutron detecting dead zone.

The fast-neutron detector comprises a package piece having a hollow cavity; a plastic scintillator array provided in the cavity and comprising a plurality of plastic scintillator units, a gap existing between adjacent plastic scintillator units; and a boron-containing gas filled into and gas-tightly sealed in the hollow cavity, the boron-containing gas forming a boron-containing gas film in the gap between the adjacent plastic scintillator units. The fast-neutron detector of the present invention completely does not require use of scarce and expensive 3He gas, nor needs a complicated boron film coating process, improves credibility of signal coincidence, and is adapted for measurement of environment background neutrons and extensively adapted for detection of radioactive substance at sites such as customs ports, harbors and the like.

摘要： A neutron generation apparatus, a neutron imaging device and an imaging method are disclosed. The neutron imaging device includes a neutron generation apparatus for generating a continuous energy spectrum neutron beam; a neutron detector for receiving a neutron beam which penetrates an object being inspected to obtain an electrical signal; a data collection circuit coupled to the neutron detector, for converting the electrical signal into a digital signal; and a data processing apparatus coupled to the data acquisition circuit, for obtaining images of the object being inspected under neutrons of different energy spectrums based on the digital signal. The above technical solutions may be utilized to generate the continuous energy spectrum neutron beam so that the images of the object being inspected under the neutrons of different energy spectrums may be obtained by the time-of-flight method, improving sensitivity of the detection.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention disclose a nuclide identification method, a nuclide identification system, and a photoneutron emitter. The photoneutron emitter comprises: a pulsed electron accelerator configured for emitting electrons; and a photoneutron converting target configured to receive the electrons emitted by the pulsed electron accelerator and convert the electrons into photoneutrons. The photoneutron converting target has a volume of about 100 to about 8000 cm3, of about 100 to about 2500 cm3, or of about 785 cm3. These embodiments of the present invention can improve an accuracy of identification of a nuclide, and provide a practical photoneutron emitter, method and system for identifying a nuclide. Especially, these embodiments of the present invention can improve an accuracy of identification of a fissile nuclide such as 233U, 235U, and 239Pu, and provide a practical photoneutron emitter, method and system for identifying a fissile nuclide such as 233U, 235U, and 239Pu.
