On a peripheral wall 131 of an outer column 13A of the column tube 13, radial tightening portions 91 including first inner protrusions 91a and axial supporting portions 92 including second inner protrusions 92s and third inner protrusions 92u are formed. The first inner protrusion 91a tightens the bearing 40 radially inward. The second inner protrusion 92s and the third inner protrusion 92u are formed by bending the peripheral wall 131 radially inward, and engage an outer race 42 to restrict movement of the bearing 40 in an axial direction G.
