摘要： An electronic device is presented for performing at least one logic function. The device comprises an electron emission based electrode arrangement associated with an electron extractor. The electrode arrangement comprises at least one basic unit including a photocathode, an anode, and one or more gates arranged aside a cavity defined between the photocathode and the anode. Said one or more gates are connectable to a voltage supply unit to be operated by one or more input voltages signals corresponding to one or more logical values, respectively. 摘要： An electronic memory device is presented. The device comprises at least one basic unit (Fig. 2), which is configured as a memory cell for storing at least one bit of information. The basic unit comprises a vacuum cavity (Figure 2, 2) for free charge carriers propagation therethrough, a region of charge carriers emission or entry into the vacuum cavity (Fig. 2, 10), an anode electrode (Fig. 2, 11) which are kept under controllable voltage conditions, and at least one floating gate electrode (Fig. 2, 12) accommodated in a path of said free charge carriers propagating through the vacuum cavity between the emission or entry region and the anode. The floating gate electrode serves for storing therein a charge indicative of the at least one bit of information.

摘要： The device (10) is configured and operable to provide electrical mathematical transformation of functions (or signals). In the present example, the device (10) is configured as a triode (e.g., transistor) T including a Photocathode PC, an anode A1 and a Gate G (which is formed by two spaced-apart electrodes that are electrically connected together) between the Photocathode and Anode. The Photocathode PC is exposed to a photon flux J(t) being a function of an input signal x(t). This is implemented using an illuminating assembly (14) including a light source system (14A ) and a signal generator (15). The signal generator (15) receives an input signal x(t), and operates the light source system (14A) to generate the corresponding photon flux J(t).
